Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was poor and disappointing from start to finish. We arrived shortly after 5:30 PM and were seated promptly inside. At the time, we were the only diners inside the restaurant, and there were just four people seated outside with shisha.

Despite being indoors, the smell of shisha smoke from the outdoor area wafted into the dining space due to the open doors. While I have nothing against shisha, it certainly impacted the enjoyment of our meal. On top of that, it was a cold evening and the indoor space was uncomfortably chilly.

We placed a fairly simple order — lamb cutlets, beef skewers, and naan bread — yet waited at least 30 minutes for our food. No one updated us or acknowledged the delay. Staff seemed more focused on chatting among themselves than attending to guests. It felt like we were completely ignored.

After waiting with no communication, we asked to cancel our order. Only then did a waitress quickly bring out the food — still with no apology. Her attitude was dismissive, and she implied we should have expected the delay, though no one had mentioned it to us. There was no concern or care shown for how we were treated at any point.

The food itself was underwhelming. The skewers lacked flavour, tasting like plain minced beef, and the naan was thin, soggy, and barely edible — more like cardboard than fresh bread. I’ve attached a photo of the naan so others can see exactly what we were served.

When leaving, we offered polite feedback to who appeared to be the manager. We received a minimal apology and a vague promise to “do better next time,” but nothing else. The lack of professionalism and care in how our concerns were handled only confirmed our decision not to return.

We recently visited Summer Restaurant in Patterson Lakes, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect – from the welcoming atmosphere to the attentive service.

We started with a few entrees, including mantou and kashk bademjan, which were absolutely delicious and packed with authentic flavors. We also ordered their special salad, and it was fresh, vibrant, and a perfect start to our meal.

For the mains, we went for the platter for four, and it was beyond amazing – every single item was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. We also tried their lamb pizza, which turned out to be a highlight! It was unique, flavorful, and cooked just right. Highly recommend trying that if you visit.

To accompany our meal, everyone ordered colorful, refreshing drinks. Each one was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked! I personally had one of their cocktails, and it was excellent – perfectly balanced and refreshing, just what I needed.

Throughout our visit, the hospitality was top-notch. The staff were super friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and the timing of the service was spot-on – we never felt rushed or waiting too long between courses.

The overall vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant were just lovely. Whether you’re there for a casual meal or something a bit more special, it feels like the perfect spot to relax and enjoy good food with good company.
