I recently visited this nice little Japanese restaurant located behind the shopping mall. It seems like they primarily focus on takeaways as there were only two tables inside. The menu offers a variety of options including sushi, rice bowls, and noodles, which I found to be quite satisfying.

I particularly enjoyed the teriyaki chicken bowl, it was delicious. However, I was a bit disappointed with the sushi rolls as they had an excessive amount of sauce, especially mayonnaise on top. Unfortunately, it wasn't mentioned anywhere that it was spicy, even though I specifically asked about non-spicy options when placing my order. It seems like it might have been a miscommunication since multiple people took my order.

During my visit, it felt quite rushed, possibly due to the busy time. When I asked about the location of the bathroom, the lady mentioned it was in the shopping center where Woolies is, without providing any further directions. This was a bit inconvenient for me as I was in a rush with a toddler who urgently needed to use the toilet. I had to walk around the shopping center until I found one, which would have been a quick 2-minute walk if I had known the shortcut.

Parking in front of the cafe is limited to 30 minutes, and there are cameras monitoring the time. I hope I didn't receive any fines as the whole ordering and toilet adventure took us around 10-15 minutes, causing us to rush through our meal.

Overall, the place has a nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. However, it would be even better if the lady behind the counter had a bit more compassion and patience. A simple 15-second explanation about the location of the bathroom would have been greatly appreciated, instead of being rushed and attending to other customers. I understand that it might have been a busy time and they were short-staffed, but a little more warmth in customer service would have made my experience much better. On a positive note, the gentleman working there was nice and approachable. Perhaps the lady was just stressed for time. I noticed she was friendlier with her regular...

I bought Hawaii tuna poke for take away on Tuesday 30 July 2024. On the menu, it says peeled edamame and lettuce are part of the bowl. However, when we got home and had it, no peeled edamame at all, no lettuce either. It has a handful of mixed 4 leafs which I dislike it. People working there is not honest, if the ingredients on your menu are out of stock, you should inform the customer before they made the purchase. So it gives us an opportunity to decide if we want to buy it or not. Or we can choose something else to buy. It’s very disappointing that people working there...

We saw Cameron Howe’s recent post about this place so we had to check it out for ourselves! Can safely say we no longer need to travel far and wide for good Japanese food…it has practically landed on our doorstep 🙌 We ordered the Tokyo Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl and the Spicy Belly Rice Bowl, both very delicious authentic flavours and super fresh ingredients. Price was on point for the portion size and the service was excellent. We can’t wait to return and work our way around the menu 😋

It was my first time eating here today and it was a nice experience. I ordered the Agedashi tofu and Rice bowl Karage. Delicious! Well seasoned and cooked beautifully! The chicken was the right amount of juicy and crispy. I well definitely come again soon! The only downside is the size of the store. It's a shame that it's a small restaurant (only 3 x tables with chairs), sorta claustrophobic, but the food was incredible!
