Tandoori Nights Catering Services — Restaurant in Melbourne

We were looking for a restaurant to cater for our wedding reception of 300 people last month, and had gone to taste test at many restaurants to find one that would suit. Me, not being subcontinental myself would not know a good curry from a bad one, but my MIL, who is an amazing cook, had decided on Tandoori Nights after testing their menu. And boy did they deliver and more! Our guests were gushing over the food, we did not hear a single word of complaint as Irfan (the main chef and owner) had advised us on dishes to cater to every possible diet, and the service provided was impeccable. Ordered 4 curries, 1 of them being incorrect and inedible due to a dietary requirement. We politely called back and asked for a replacement curry with the one that we originally ordered. The lady was extremely rude and snarky but reluctantly said they'd make the curry we originally ordered and asked numerous times if we were getting it free of charge due to the mix up, which was agreed. When we went to pick it up however, she tried to charge us. We stated that on the phone she said it was free because it was what we ordered originally!!!! I ordered Vegetable Biryani from here and the food arrived within 15 minutes. I was very happy about it and thought I could order from it regularly it is good. But, the food was too bland. The rice was a bit hard and it seemed like it was not fresh. It was terrible. I wanted to tell the restaurant about this and I called them. I was surprised by their response. They asked me to give feedback on the app and get refund. I am not looking for refund. It's not about the money. I wanted an explanation and they're not at all sorry for the food they sent me.
