Decent Japanese food but very overpriced considering the location of the restaurant and quantity of the food. I ordered the Beef Yakisoba and Salmon Sushi. The sushi roll was very tiny with the tiniest piece of salmon ever and the Beef Yakisoba had only 2 tiny pieces of beef. I told her that the dish was tasting good but that she should consider adding a decent amount of salmon to the sushi. When my partner and me gave the owner this as constructive critisism, she told us angry to cook it ourselves and go home. She also forced us to pay in advance which is weird since we sat at a table inside the place. They don't have a door, the places is full of tiny fruit flies and the airconditioner full of mold. I am typing this while both of us are sick in bed with diarrhea and stomach pain. I do not recommend as there are way better places as you can read in my previous reviews.

Finally a decent Japanese eatery in my area that lets the simplicity of their ingredients showcase how Japanese cuisine should be experienced. I ordered the agedashi tofu and the poke don. Absolutely delicious. Staff were so kind and the restaurant itself is small but quaint, a welcomed relief from the hustle and bustle of Borrack square car park lol. An affordable menu without the hefty price tag. Unfortunately no hot tea on the menu to pair with my meal but no big deal, it was still so satisfying. You should definitely give Teru a try if you’re looking for local authentic Japanese cuisine!

I popped into this cute little place which unexpectedly sits in a little local shopping square, for lunch. It was a lovely lunch. The agedashi tofu broth was much lighter than I prefer but the fried enoki gave it a sweet umami touch that I haven't had before so I was pleasantly surprised. The white fish carpaccio was refreshing and the sauce was zesty and the onions really cut through the richness of the fish. I really wish they told you which cut it was though. Service was prompt and lovely no complaints. Lovely cute little local gem

This place is awesome, a must try!

It’s a really small place, only about 6 tables, but makes for a really homey, chill atmosphere. There’s only one lady working at the front and she was absolutely lovely. When we ordered our food we were a bit nervous about how long it was going to take seeing as there was a constant line of people ordering and picking up takeout, however, this wasn’t the case. Our food came out relatively fast and was delicious. You can tell it’s all homemade and fresh, and it’s reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend their pork gyoza 🥟 Definitely coming back...
