You’re better off going to the KFC in Yarraville.

Every single time I’ve ordered from Altona North, they take an ungodly amount of time, forget items, and laugh at you.

I’ve had an employee laugh when trying to say my name, then “apologising” once she realised I heard her laughing.

I’ve had my drinks completely forgotten, where I’ve had to drive back and pick them up.

And most recently, which is the reason I’m writing this; Placed an order through the app, let them know I was coming in advance, got told at the window to park up, as it’s going to be a 5 minute wait for a specific item.

I’m happy to, and pull over. Then about 20 minutes goes by!! I’m contemplating going in to ask for the order but thankfully an employee comes out with my order. As items have been missing before, I check the order before I drive off. And what do you know, there is a significant part of the order missing 😭.

I had to walk in to ask for it myself, completely taking away the whole reason I choose drive through.

I get it, things get busy and fast food hospitality can get stressful (I’ve worked both fast food and retail), but one mistake after another no matter what day or time you come in.

I decided to stop off at this store to get some lunch on the way back to work today. let me just start by saying that was the worst idea i have had all week. I ordered a Large Zinger Stacker Box through drive thru and was informed that there would be a 20 minute wait on OR Chicken for my meal and had to swap it for something else (which was no issue) i then got handed my meal which i put on my passenger seat and pulled out of the carpark. whilst waiting at the traffic lights i opened up the boxed meal to grab a chip when my hands hit something warm and wet, Someone hadn't put the lid on the gravy. I returned to the KFC but by that stage it was to late the gravy had leaked on my seat. I went in side and spoke to the manager who explained that basically it was my fault this had happened and as i had left the carpark, KFC wasn't liable. I have since spoken to the ombudsman who basically told me the staff at this store had just lied thru their teeth which is completely unacceptable. So much for Customer Service more like...
