There are butchers and there are butchers BUT Borrack Square Butchers are simply the best. The quality of meat is exemplary and the variety is so good that you can stir fry, bbq, grill and make a good curry. Everything tastes just marvellous. Most importantly the customer service provided by Terry and Rasha is authentic and they treat customers with so much respect and care. Sadly the store at Caroline Springs closed but they still operate at Borrack Square, Altona. I don’t usually write reviews unless I’ve had a ludicrous experience, where I was disappointed about the honesty and customer experience. It’s the principle that matters, not the $ amount. Price tag claimed $3.50, however when reviewing the receipt I was charged $4 each dip. Was told that the pricing is “outdated and incorrect” when questioning the total price. I needed a bulk order of sausages (halal) for a school event. They made over 600 sausages and delivered them to the school free of charge. The kids said they were the best sausages. I now come here for my weekly meat shop. They will make everything up fresh for you and I find it lasts a lot longer in the fridge. They also have a lot of Lebanese supplies and fruit and veg.
