Thai Baan — Restaurant in Melbourne

1. accepted the reservation and when we were there, the receptionist said the kitchen was closed. Meanwhile one of the staff sitting at dining table, covered the face and laughed. They were not resolved after took the reservation,very much disappointed.
2. when we were out of the restaurant we were followed from the dining area, and we were told there was no booking made He is a big lier and other 2 as well. they have lack of customer representative absolutely wasting our beautiful evening.
3. why would we faced with this, plenty of Thai restaurants in Melbourne! The reason we make the reservation was dinner + enjoy our evening along the beach, that wasn't happened at last ruined our night.
4. we won’t return this restaurant never ever again, not recommend to future customers at all. Don’t waste your time at Thai Bann. Actually 1 star is quite high, if google allow 0 star, I will give a 0 star for sure.
5. last suggestion is if you don’t want to take responsibility I will report your actions to google and get you taken down

As you mentioned I was arrived after the restaurant closing time, that’s 100% false statement. #Check the phone call what time I called your restaurant and request booking! arrival time ( 8:50pm around)is earlier than what I mentioned your restaurant closing hour in google is 9:30pm #Also I asked your receptionist that you guys will alright to accept the reservation because we are heading from Reservoir 50 -55mins receptionist replied- no problem! come, you are in booking When we arrived there, your staffs were saying that you are not booking and kick out the customer to the door

The last suggestion for Thai...

I love my Thai food, In particular - CHICKEN pad Thai. unfortunately, it happened to be on one of those days I was completely craving it. Why? It had chicken which was beautifully cooked, however there were tiny small pieces of prawns almost like crumbs on the bottom, which completely screwed the whole dish and my mood. I don’t like sea food what so ever and the salty taste of the prawns (which completely take over the taste and smell of the whole dish) let alone knowing they’re in there when I just ordered a chicken pad Thai had me straight to the bathroom unfortunately spewing it all out.

From what I can see with other comments, the same thing has happened to them. This is now allowed to happen when paying good money for a dish. You should be separating the meat from the seafood and not cross contaminating them!

The pad Thai was quite ordinary also to be honest.
