Sensational Thai food on Victoria Street! This was our first time dining at Thaiger Rabbit and it was such a fantastic experience. We ordered a wide variety of dishes — Red Veggie Curry, Drunken Noodles, Acacia Omelette, Deep Fried Egg Tofu Salad, Green Papaya Salad for the meat-free options, and the Crying Pig, and the Gai Lan w Crispy Pork for the meat eaters. Every single dish was spectacular and prepared with care. It was truly authentic Thai food (as authentic as you can get in Australia), and the menu had a plethora of options to choose from. The staff were also super cheerful, attentive and quick to attend to our requests. What we especially loved was the fact that they have many unique items on the menu which can’t be found at most local Thai joints. The decor in the restaurant (even the bathrooms) was also really gorgeous and truly added to the overall experience. We had a fantastic dinner, and we will definitely be back again!

Sister branch to the famous Ying Thai that has been operating on Lygon St for years. The cuisine is Thai in both restaurants but not exactly the same dishes. We tried four different dishes and all of them were great. Tom Yum Soup is probably the most average but you can't really get it wrong. Fried fish with some sauce on top has great juiciness to it. The Papaya salad had great sauce because that's the secret to a good papaya salad. It was an explosion of sour, salty, sweet and spicy. The last dish was a soup with soft tofu and some meatballs. Although it sounds bland, it is actually quite tasty so much so that our daughter had a second serving when she rarely did so! Food comes out quite slow although we are the only diners there, noting that they have continuous delivery orders. Food - 9 Service - 7 Vibe - 8 Price - $$

The Tom Yum soup would have been perfect if not for the overpowering taste of the lemongrass. There were hints of sweetness, spiciness and sourness, underneath all that lemongrass-ness. The seafood was reasonably fresh, and cooked well. The thin and flat slices of beef in the red curry were a bit disappointing, as they were more suited for stir fries rather than curries. On the bright side, the curry sauce was not just flavourful, but smooth and creamy. The roti wasn't crisped enough, and was too soft even before soaking up the curry. I haven't had a pineapple fried rice in a long time, and this one brought back all the feels. The sweet and zesty flavours imparted from the pineapple was delightful, and overall it was well-seasoned. Decent Thai feed in Richmond. Friendly service all around.

Thaiger Rabbit by Ying Thai is a Thai restaurant located on Victoria Parade in Abbotsford, Melbourne. The restaurant is located on Victoria Parade, which is easily accessible by public transport and is close to several other shops and restaurants. The food at Thaiger Rabbit is generally very good. They serve a range of classic Thai dishes such as Pad Thai, Green Curry, Tom Yum soup, and Massaman Curry, as well as some more unusual dishes that are worth trying. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available. The staff at Thaiger Rabbit are friendly and attentive, and are happy to provide recommendations if you're not sure what to order. The atmosphere at Thaiger Rabbit is relaxed and casual, with colorful decorations and a cozy vibe. The restaurant can get quite busy, so it's best to book ahead to avoid disappointment. The restaurant is generally clean and well-maintained. The staff are attentive to hygiene and take care to ensure that the restaurant is kept tidy. Unfortunately, parking can be a bit of a challenge around the area. There are some street parking options, but they can be limited and you may need to walk a bit to get to the restaurant. The prices at Thaiger Rabbit are reasonable for the quality of food and service on offer. The portion sizes are generous, so you'll definitely get your money's worth. The interior of Thaiger Rabbit is colorful and vibrant, with a mix of traditional Thai decor and modern touches. The lighting is dim and the music is lively, adding to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. The restaurant is located on Victoria Parade, which is a busy road. However, there are plenty of shops, cafes, and other restaurants nearby, making it a good location for...

We ordered food and drinks at about 7.30pm. At about 8.10pm we still had no food served. So we looked up this restaurant’s google reviews, and read that many reviewers complaint that they had to wait for an hour or so for food to be served after ordering and some people just left after waiting for food to no avail. So we asked the restaurant staff when our food (ordered for more than 40 minute ago) was going to arrIve. They replied that our order is still in their kitchen queue, and that it would take at least another 20 minutes!!! That means they are planning not to serve us food at least an hour after they had taken our order. The other reviewers are absolutely right about this restaurant - it is just too irresponsible in keeping its customers waiting for such an unreasonable length of time for food to be served. Since this extremely long waiting time is their regular mode of operation, they should have been honest with the customers and should have told them there would be a long waiting timer (at least an hour after ordering) for food to arrive, so that customers could make an informed choice about whether to spend an hour waiting for their food. At the end, we cancelled our food order, paid for our drinks and left. We do NOT plan to visit Thaiger...

Just finished lunch here. My papaya salad with soft shell crab, while a tad saucy, Still delicious, took 24 mins to arrive. My daughter's chicken satay came 4 minutes before mine. Quite long lunch waits for food I reckon. Not to mention the 10mins it took to be able to order. One star for each of the dishes as they were both really good. I would've given one more except on the way out as I was paying my tab...with cash... the server/ cashier/ hostess/ meal prep girl was making spring rolls on the counter. Stopped, took my payment, cracked open a new roll of coins and handed me the change. I carefully watched saying to myself, please wash your hands before getting back to rolling the food...please wash your hands and nope, she went right back to making food after handling all that money, answering the phone and goodness knows what else. Grossed me out and so not sanitary. Infront of the register is a sign facing out towards us which reads, "please wash your hands. Don't spread germs 😂!! " Oh...
