Read moreWe ordered food and drinks at about 7.30pm. At about 8.10pm we still had no food served. So we looked up this restaurant’s google reviews, and read that many reviewers complaint that they had to wait for an hour or so for food to be served after ordering and some people just left after waiting for food to no avail. So we asked the restaurant staff when our food (ordered for more than 40 minute ago) was going to arrIve. They replied that our order is still in their kitchen queue, and that it would take at least another 20 minutes!!! That means they are planning not to serve us food at least an hour after they had taken our order. The other reviewers are absolutely right about this restaurant - it is just too irresponsible in keeping its customers waiting for such an unreasonable length of time for food to be served. Since this extremely long waiting time is their regular mode of operation, they should have been honest with the customers and should have told them there would be a long waiting timer (at least an hour after ordering) for food to arrive, so that customers could make an informed choice about whether to spend an hour waiting for their food. At the end, we cancelled our food order, paid for our drinks and left. We do NOT plan to visit Thaiger...

Quite long lunch waits for food I reckon. Not to mention the 10mins it took to be able to order. One star for each of the dishes as they were both really good. I would've given one more except on the way out as I was paying my tab...with cash... the server/ cashier/ hostess/ meal prep girl was making spring rolls on the counter. Stopped, took my payment, cracked open a new roll of coins and handed me the change. I carefully watched saying to myself, please wash your hands before getting back to rolling the food...please wash your hands and nope, she went right back to making food after handling all that money, answering the phone and goodness knows what else. Grossed me out and so not sanitary. Infront of the register is a sign facing out towards us which reads, "please wash your hands. Don't spread germs 😂!! " Oh...
