My first and last ever experience at El Lounge Pizza was absolutely appalling. After waiting over an hour for our over priced "large" pizza and $9 chocolate mousse probably from Coles, we were delivered a stone cold, soggy, unsatisfactory flavourless pizza. My room mate and I, both students decided to splurge on a $40 pizza order and were extremely unsatisfied with our order. We called up and reasoned with the employee and had agreed on getting our money back. After a few persisting calls on our behalf, we finally spoke to the manager who actually told us there was no way we were getting our money back. The conversation with the supposed professional manager turned into a bickering argument, extremely unprofessional and I was very intimidated by the mans appalling and immature behaviour. We were accused of lying and scheming. THIS is not a professional business, absolute zero customer service and I will never be ordering from this restaurant again. One of the worst hospitality...

The people are really friendly and the Wood-fire pizza is delicious! The base is extremely fresh & fluffy and it’s different to normal bases. I wasn’t sure about it at first but in the end I ate my entire pizza, crusts and all, without any help lmao.

Downsides are (note: I went here 2 month or so ago so things may have changed) that they are pretty expensive at $17-$19 for a large pizza, they don’t have standard fair like family sized pizzas or any drinks larger than a 375ml Pepsi range can & they add unexpected things like tomato pieces & bay(?) leaves on a margarita pizzas or other extras on bog standard pizzas. This may possibly be the traditional Italian way of make the pizzas & I’m just ignorant. If so then i apologise for putting it in the ‘downside’ category)

All of that though is just pettiness that I’m only adding it to be thorough. Trust me, it’s all well and truly made up for by the amazingly delicious pizzas so I’d definitely go...

incredibly rude service. booked online and just followed the prompts on their website. I got a call within a minute of the order from a lady to say I paid 30 dollars not 38 which is what it should have been. when i explained i just followed their own website the phone was passed to an immensely rude lady who must be the manager but clearly has no prior training in customer service. I could barely ask for clarification when she said my options were she gives me regular pizzas rather than the large that i ordered and paid for from their website or i pay an extra 8 dollars . again before i could tell her my preference she stated "just decide and tell customer service, I'm too busy" and threw the phone back to the first lady . I cannot imagine with service like this that this business will...
