Don't bother trying burgerooze or any of the other burger places around Sunbury. The name says it all. I found best burger bar 3 years ago via menulog late one night when I was craving onion rings. I remember thinking at the time "who names themselves the best burger bar" and being super reluctant to even try them..
I ordered an Oreo shake, Southern fried chicken burger and onion rings, and since then have refused to get a burger anywhere else. Even when I'm not in the area ð because I don't want to be disappointed or even think about trying another burger place that is expensive for what you get.
I take all my friends and family there. The burgers, you can tell, are made with love and a passion for food. The owner is always trying new menu items and always remembers reoccurring customers and what they like, making recommendations accordingly.
The prices are a bit pricier sometimes (I personally don't think they are but my family did) but other places in the area charge $25-$30 for a burger that tastes no where near as good (in which my family agreed with me). They have the best range of vegetarian burgers and don't use crappy meat substitutes but actual ingredients that are full of flavour and hit that good burger spot. I'm not even a vegetarian but I usually go for them because they're so yummy!
I have been making an effort to try new things from their menu each visit: God of Love or the Southern Fried Chicken are my all time favourites, and I recently tried their "From the Soil" burger and it was incredible. I'm still trying new burgers each visit, but I haven't faulted one yet. (Others I've tried: The Lot, Signature Burger, Halloumi, Parma, Chilli, Chilli Stacker)

Read moreOk if you give these guys a bad review, I dont know what to tell you, maybe you just need to refine your palette and be a little nicer, cos from what I've seen, the cook is also the cashier, that's impressive! (Value hardworkers more!)
First off, the atmostphere? This place is amazing, in my opinion. It gives me rustic homely vibes (which I love.) Watching TV there made me feel like I was in 2010 or something.
Service? Felt more than welcome, it was like I was meeting up with someone I've known for a while, even though I hadn't known the (owner? ..) cashier/cook for more than a few hours, as I'm somewhat of a regular now.
Now, is it The Best Burger Bar? ..
The answer is yes. (Although I can only argue that it's ONE of The Best Burger Bars I've eaten at in a while.) Even when I had leftovers (because I can NOT eat the whole thing in one go.) It didn't taste manufactured at all! Chicken? the best, Beef? To die for! They even do milkshakes.
I need people to see how great this place is, I don't give these types of reviews often, but these guys are one of a kind, in my...

This quirky little establishment is one of the shining gems of Sunbury's local cuisine. The environment is warm and welcome without being overwhelming; the interior decor is a combination of a caricaturesque rockabilly diner and a genuine homage to Sunbury's rich history of live music festivals.
I can't speak for all the dishes, but I ordered a New Yorker hotdog and shared a loaded cheese and gravy friends. Whilst the chips were quite ordinary, the same shan't be said about the New Yorker. The brioche was a superbly toned golden-brown, the steak was rich and tender and the toppings were varied enough as to not induce an overbearing monotony.
The unique ambience, the friendly and expedient service combined with the excellent and universally palatable meals on offer make this the perfect place to enjoy anything from a quick snack to a hearty meal that contains a bit more bite and interest than one...
