Your explanation is just so lame. If you did treated that man nicely and there was no violence involved then how come that man would be pissed off? It makes no sense man. It is just logically lame. It doesn't matter if people who come here giving you comments have been to your place before or not. What really matters is the way you treat your customers (or maybe you didn't treated him as your customer as he used your toilet before buying stuff). And I guess if that guy was a white man he would be treated differently. And I don't think you feel sorry for that from your replies here, which is the worst thing. What you are trying to do here is to maintain your reputation by saying those who gave your low rate are his friends or have never been there so what they said was not true and what you did was appropriate....

Being a Elwood local and attending this bar often for 6+ years I have never had an issue. However since the last lockdown ended there seems to be new staff, understandably. It is extremely uncomfortable when your female bar manager is incredibly passive aggressive every time I’ve walked in over the last 3 months. She is not the only staff member that I’m is passive aggressive. Asking us to check in for covid reasons, yes we are aware but can you give someone a chance to get their phone out and maybe greet them when we walk in. Not “have you checked in”

Staff Constantly vaping and making people feel unwelcome and like we are being watched is a horrible feeling as a patron. In all honestly it’s like we have walked into their home and have disturbed them.

Had quite the experience here a few Fridays ago. We were met by two interesting faces that made me and my mate feel pretty much not wanted or welcomed! The first lad, who resembled Gollum to a tee - just told my mate to check in first for covid reason (which is understandable obviously) and then ran off to leave him at the bar without ordering a tasty beverage, also with a bit of attitude was the other barman at the back, who kept furiously swearing once a keg ran out of beer..
