EVERY time I eat here the food is delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked.

The battered fish is fresh, crisp and isn't oily like you can find at other shops. The chips are crisp and perfectly cooked. The salads are large portions with fresh ingredients. Etc...

Yesterday I though I I'd try salt and pepper squid. It's something I love but don't order often, as most places ruin it by either not having fresh enough seafood or cooking it too long and it ending up like rubber.

The Original Greek Fish and Chips Shop again blew me away. Perfectly cooked (again!), deliciously seasoned, generous portions. It was better than I've eaten at various quality restaurants. Can't recommend it enough!

So, if your looking for either traditional fish and chips or something a bit different, you can't go wrong at The Original Greek Fish and Chip Shop. Very reasonable prices, high quality food, and lovely staff. What can you lose? Check it out!

I had taken a friend to dinner as we were visiting Brighton from country Victoria to trade in his mustang for a never model. My friend has a hearing disability so Simon turned the music down to a level so we could enjoy our conversation with our meal. The chips were outstanding as they were not like the factory product often sold as chips these days but like what I had growing up. Real potato, cooked to perfection. The serve of chips was also generous, so one serve of chips was plenty for both of us. We had blue grenadier, and it was really delicious. We had the absolute pleasure of dining at The Original Greek Fish and Chip Shop, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. Chef Angelo truly knows his craft—everything we tasted was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The highlight of the meal was definitely the OG Ange Burger; I’ve never had anything like it before. The combination of ingredients was spot on, and it was easily the best burger I’ve ever had.

Not only was the food top-notch, but Chef Angelo’s hospitality really made the meal special. He’s warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what he does. It’s rare to come across such a talented chef who cares so much about the quality of his food and the experience of his guests.
