10 Greek Plates is a Greek restaurant located on Martin Street, Brighton. It is family owned and operated, and you are spoilt with true Greek hospitality as soon as you step through the doors. 🇬🇷 The menu has all the classics, including souvlakis and platters to share. You can order a la carte or feed me menu ($65/75), either way you will be FED, the plates are generous. 😍 ✔️ Saganaki - two different cheeses, served from the pan. Salty! ✔️ Octopus, Potatoes - like butter in your mouth, so tender. A lot of oil. ⭐️ Beetroot Salad - refreshing ⭐️ Loukouniko Sausage - I didnt expect 2, wow!! Huge, not too salty. ⭐️ Platter for One with Mixed Gyros - the chicken gyros was so tender and flavourful. Lamb also nice. We shared this! ⭐️ Portokolopita - absolutely delicious! It’s vibey no matter the day or the weather, we visited on a Wednesday night, you should definitely make a booking. Great for groups as the servings are huge. Kudos to the team for being so laid back yet attentive, as well as having charisma and personality. We loved it here so it won’t be the last time for us, we can’t wait to try more. ⭐️ 4.5/5 💸 $$

Not in a hurry to order again from 10 Greek Plates. Orderd over phone for pickup. Told I was paying cash and then was ushered outside to wait in the cold. Meanwhile the next guest picking up also paid cash but was allowed to wait inside and was handed a bottle of red, clearly a friend of the owner Bill. Literally noone was in the restaurant yet, 5.20pm. Bag was stapled shut and handed to me. I asked if it was the platter for 4 ($120) to which they said the name of the order. I felt like i was being treated like an uber driver, not a paying customer. Have ordered many times since 2020 and never seen a hair and shrivelled up plastic in our food. Really disappointing all around. The cuts of meat for lamb were quite dry. Chips were too salty so perhaps keep this in mind, and there wasn't nearly enough for 4 people. Chicken however was much nicer, but it was where we discovered the orange plastic. Tzatziki quantity was more for 2, not 4 people. We thought there was a mistake. Pick up your game team 10 Greek Plates!

First time attendance. Side entrance is a little different. Not a big space, and being busy, almost capacity on a wet Wednesday evening says something about the place. The ambiance was slightly dark, the table we had, hard to find a spot for brighter light to read the menu. The table next to us used their phone torch. Minor in scheme of the night. Both of us had the Hellenic Platter for 1 one lamb, one chicken. Pictured is the chicken. Ordered side dish of the House marinated Kalamata olives. Hindsight, a dish too much. The serving of the Hellenic Platter for 1, while may appear small, is very filling. I'm a very active person and managed to get through my. My daughter, struggled with hers. Good portions. This was a treat and all elements placed to quality. Would recommend either of these. Lots of other options on menu. A look around the room of other dishes all looking good. One place to go back to.

Because of the location, you might overlook 10 Greek Plates, but here's why you shouldn't ... The food is delicious. Ok, so I tend to stick to the same food most times I eat here (the Nana Mouskouri souvlaki, which is Gyros chicken, wrapped with chips, onion, tomato and a chef's sauce), but it's really good and always spot on. Be warned: the restaurant is LOUD ... and I'd say it's a bit on the small side considering the amount of tables they try and fit in. But the service is good, and the food is on point and parking isn't too hard. The decor is nice and if you love Greek food, you can't go far wrong trying it here. It's not a place for a romantic date or catching up with anyone who's hard of hearing, but it's a nice hidden gem in Brighton, and worth a visit for sure.

Very thankful that they squeezed us in at 5pm for an hour as fully booked from 6pm (due to lockdown 6). Unfortunately the Prosecco and French sparkling not to my taste but partner's Shiraz fine. Ordered too much - olives, 3 dips and pita bread, saganaki, calamari and chips. Way too much and brought half of it home. The dips and pita bread one of the most generous servings I have had. Absolutely delicious food. However the place is so dark. No lighting on or above our table so had to use phone torch to read the menu. Suggest add some tealights to the table or something. Would come back.

Dining in this time (booking essential) and still not blowing my mind given it’s popularity. The soft pita bread was the highlight. Zucchini fritters tasty also but overall overrated in my opinion Original review We had takeaway from 10 Greek Plates last night which I have seen many times on influencers Instagram squares and was absolutely pumping as a venue but food wise I really found it to be none too spectacular. Yummy enough but very salty and not superior to your standard souv
