Really disappointed ☹️ Last night I ordered dinner, Turbo rice, and a beef and vegetable dish' The Turbo rice was dry and clumpy? But the beef dish was a complete let down 👎 In my experience Chinese chef's use a mediocre cut of beef, then use a velveting method to tenderise the cut' A very simple easy but extremely effective way to get soft tender beef' I'm sure it was the Chinese who came up with the velveting method? Last night's dish did use a cheap cut of beef, but absolutely no velveting or tenderising at all??? The beef was tough , dry and rubbery,! The sauce had so much fish sauce in it it stunk when I undid the lid ( that sweaty body odour smell) It tasted just as bad as it smelt? The dish was basically inedible! Must be one lazy chef' tenderise your cheaper cuts of beef! Ease up on the fish sauce, it is very overpowering! Astonishing a professional chef could serve such a hidious dish! Read moreThis is a good example why “under new management” should be displayed when new owners buy an established business!! The food is nothing like the food the old owners made! Like a previous customer said “ their fried rice vis boiled!!” That explains a lot my meals “ fried” rice was claggy and bland!! I also bought a seafood rice dish with 1 prawn the size of a 50c piece and plenty of tofu and the seafood “helper” that fish and chips shops claim is a “SEAFOOD STICK” and the rice was undercooked but also blew my head off it was that spicy hot!!!! The beef and pork were tasteless, overcooked, the pork especially was dry. The chicken was passable. Relied on too much cabbage and onion as vegetables and these were limply overcooked too.
