I Love Food and I know Food.

Hi, I tried the hyped Vakna Bakery in Caroline Springs yesterday for late lunch after seeing tiktok videos.

Well, I must say the experience was not bad. I tried their BBQ chicken Banh Mi with extra chilli. The roll was made according to my liking. However, the bread did not feel as fresh as I've had at other places. The veggies were fresh, but the chicken was luke warm and would have preferred bit more quantity. I don't know if it was the timing when I went or something.

The girl at the counter was nice and had good customer service skills. The place was kept clean and presentable. However, as it's in a food court, I can't give them 5 stars for ambiance.

I will try to go back there again and give them another go. Let's see...

I LOVE me a great Bahń Mì. This place however, did not delivery that. For the price of $10 for a crispy pork roll that is the length of the tip of my fingers to my wrist and the width of four of my fingers combined, it's just not worth it. This is a westernised version of a roll. Meat ratio was decent however lacked salad. Understandable since the bread rolls are so small. You're better off going to St. Albans to get a real Bahń Mì worth...
