Viet Boy — Restaurant in Melbourne

Terrible customer service this afternoon. Shocking. I was standing at the register for 5 minutes as the only customer. The cashier right in front of me ignored me when I asked if they were still open as it was nearly closing tine. It wasn't until I said YO! that she finally looked up to take my order. I then asked for BBQ pork on Rice. She threw the menu at me and said you want the rice dish? I said if the rice dish is BBQ pork and rice then yes. She rolled her eyes and said which rice dish! Obviously BBQ pork and rice! She never told me the rice dish includes BBQ pork and rice. It really would have been that easy but this generation really can't communicate. They just throw a menu and no care in the world to explain nicely to a customer. I was her ONLY customer and it really wouldn't have been that hard for her to tell me the rice dish includes BBQ pork and rice instead of charging me extra for a BBQ pork and rice and then roll her eyes. I already told her what I wanted. She knew exactly our order. I ended up walking away and not buying from them. Very rude, get better staff!! No...

Worst Vietnamese Bah mi roast pork roll I've ever had, roll itself was stale, pork was dry and cold, no pate or butter or chilli and I asked for a good hit of chilli. Way too much sauce to mask everything isn't fresh. Ordered a Beef Pho for my friend. Pho was tasteless and hot water basically. When we complained they were so rude arguing with us and I cook Vietnamese food all the time. Pho needs to be cooked very well. This showed that they're using cheats stock cubes and bring stingy. This is the worst Vietnamese place avoid at all costs. The roasts are sitting for hours, rice paper rolls to, food safety should be looked at in this place, the kitchen when we looked, stoves were very dirty and so were the floors. Just eewww 🤢🤮. Viet Boy at Westfield Shopping Centre Southland isn't the greatest place to get a Banh MI unfortunately, I found unlike the advertising, the Bread Rolls aren't fresh in my experience, the Pork is always overcooked, tough and dry, theres no patte or butter, this just adds to the ever dry Pork Roll, honestly, it's just no good! finger food obviously sits in the bay moree under lights drying out, so expect things not to be the greatest at times, the service isn't the nicest experience either, I think the girls need to cheer up a little bit, if you don't like your job?
