Wok's N Dumplings Dromana — Restaurant in Melbourne

First time I ever came to this shop I ordered Honey chicken with rice and a curry laksa, I didn't get rice with my honey chicken and the curry laksa had literally like 5 noodles! It was literally just filled with vegetables that were so incredibly bland. I called and told them i had ordered honey chicken with rice and they said "you got the more expensive meal so just have that". Mate i ordered honey chicken with rice because well... I wanted rice! Not just honey chicken, i don't care about the what $3 difference?! The honey chicken tasted like it was boiled instead of deep fried, it was so soggy i couldn't even eat it. I thought i'd give them another chance thinking maybe it was on off day, not that that's acceptable cause people should get what they asked for ya know.. I waited in line for about 15 minutes, with one person in front of me. Phone was going off the whole time, not once did they answer and i ended up leaving before they served the customer in front of me. Not sure how long that poor person waited for but i couldn't bare to wait any longer with an empty store and only one person infront of me. I tried again a couple of nights ago and again the same! Why does it need to take an unbelievably long amount of time just to make an order. Such a disgrace. Yes the prices are alright but it is NOT worth the wait and not to mention the rudeness of the lady at the front counter when she eventually DOES take an...

Wow! Takeaway food in Dromana that is actually edible and really nice. Had Fried Rice that was packed with prawns and pork, carrot and beanshoots which, I haven't had in Fried Rice forever. Just personal taste but I would have preferred peas to the carrot but that's just me. Rice was actually fried, not just boiled rice as lots of Chinese restaurants seem to do now, which is weird. Will definitely return next time I am down...

Ordered the pan fried dumplings, hokkien mei chicken and szhuwan chicken on fried Rice. Taste wise all of them were good, especially the dumplings which tasted fresh and juicy. The fried rice and noodles were a bit on the oily side and when it comes in a takeaway box, you can see the oil segregate at the bottom. Otherwise a good place to try...
