Well, im a bit tired of receiving every single time my orders wrong. Dont get me wrong, I love the food of this place, never had a problem with the food itself. But absolutely always something missing on my order, if I order nachos I would get enchiladas, if I order drinks they would never come, if I order chips with no cheese they come with extra cheese.

Every time I have called to the restaurant to try to fix the situation, talking straight to the managers but them solution is "sorry I cannot fix it, I can give you a free chips next time", well, it is NOT free if I have paid for it but has never arrived on my order.

I have worked in hospitality many years, I know how stressful it can be, but come on, how many time does every order need to be wrong so I stop buying from them? yep, that one was the last one for sure.

Service was very friendly. The food seemed slow to come out of the kitchen, but this was my first time at GYG so maybe it's always like that. They did apologise for the wait. I got the $3 tacos. Good flavour, but one was kind of cold, like it had sat out waiting for the other one. Wasn't overly impressed, but will probably go back and give it another chance with something different from the menu.

Edit: went back the next day for avocado toast for breakfast. It was very nice, and a lot cheaper than getting it from a cafe. However, service was still slow. Upgrading from 3 stars to 4 based on improved food quality.

2022 update: had the nachos. They made a mistake with my order but fixed it with a friendly apology and replacement food, plus a couple of free coupons (which I've just discovered expired four months ago 😂). Nachos were nice, plenty...

Good packaging but I don't understand why they pack food even for those who want to dine in. Food is ok but lacks consistency for example sometimes chicken may be too dry at times and juicy and delicious at other times... However food is more expensive than other fast food outlets.

Also, you end up paying extra for everything...sour cream, avocado, olives etc. There are no meal deals for families so you may end up paying equal or more than what a family meal will cost you from a Chinese/ thai takeaway where they give you bigger portions and you may end up with leftovers as well.

Still it's fast, quick and the peri peri fries are my daughter's favorite. Not the best value for money but not completely unhealthy too as compared to...
