Such a weird experience, we had booked 2 nights 3 women 2 young children. We stayed one night left early in the morning to go shopping, had a call they entered our room and it was dirty, we had a do not disturb sign up and we have young kids. My sister returned to the room at 10pm and the owner was outside our door just lingering, mind you I was asleep. He didn’t even speak to her just took off when he saw her pull in. Very creepy behaviour as he was a Middle Aged man, we questioned on why he entered our room and he said he had thought we where smoking in the room, a room with a one and two year old in it!
UPDATE/ reply to your reply We had 2 rooms booked, one with 1 adult and 2 children one with 2 adults. 1, the “smoke smell” was definitely not made from us and the accusations that there was ash and a towel covering the vent is completely false. Secondly you have multiple reviews that stated that your rooms smelled badly off smoke. So you’re probably smelling what all other guests are also smelling in their rooms. 2, yes you where recorded, and it is publicly posted with ALOT of views. Where you stated what was wrong about the room, you did not say anything about ash or the towel covering the vent, this is the first I am hearing off it. I am the adult that was staying in the second room, I didn’t have a 1 and 2 year old with me. We recorded the room on arrive, whilst being there and before we cleaned and after we cleaned this is also posted, as I was vlogging my holiday, as I do TikTok quite a lot. You can see in my vlog before you’s even had a problem the state of the room and what we were doing. You can see that I am exiting the room for smokes, and vapes. I am not fussed by the stupidity you are posting or...
Read moreThe first thing you notice when you walk in the room is how clean and tidy it is. I have to commend the motel for that. Other than that the rest of the experience is quite average for the price you pay. The room is quite small but is enough for 2 people or a couple so for us it was perfect. There is no kitchen/kitchenette...just a small bench with coffee/tea facilities and pretty much no utensils. There is a small fridge however and beverages/snacks which will cost you if drink/eat them. They give you a small carton of milk on the day you check in but if you want more you have to pay for it. I'd suggest going to the local Woolies/Coles and get them there as it will be cheaper. Although there are car spots right in front of the rooms, we found out however that they are actually not designated to any room. Anyone can just park anywhere they want. After going out for dinner the first night we were there, someone else had already parked in the spot in front of our room. It feels a little weird having someone else park right outside your window, hanging around making noise while we were trying to enjoy some peace and quite. The place also feels somewhat insecure with the entrance open and anyone could enter and break into the rooms as the windows get left open by the cleaners and the front door has the old-fashioned locks. The road traffic is also loud, especially at night with trucks...
Read moreUnfortunately the room (room 12) was so uninhabitable that we checked in and then promptly left to stay somewhere else. The smell in the room was overpowering (deodoriser) which was clearly masking the smell of smoke. The room was old, dated and not cleaned properly. Black hairs all over the bathroom which were not ours. But mostly it the smell was nauseating. If you are a smoker you might not notice but my 8 year old was left gagging and we couldn’t spend 5 minutes in there let alone the night. Reception staff were receptive to feedback and polite and gave us a refund. Luckily I was able to find another last minute room in a hotel up the road. Pros are the pool looked nice (we didn’t use) and it’s close to the shopping centre. Ask for a newly renovated room if you stay here. If you’re a smoker ask for room 12 as you could probably have a smoke in bed and no...
