Mildura Plaza Motor Inn — Hotel in Mildura

I am SEVERELY disappointed in the customer service I experienced at this motel. Granted, I am utilising this accommodation for an unusual crisis situation which comes with unexpected complications for both myself, & the owner of this establishment (ESPECIALLY during a pandemic), however I do not believe there are ANY circumstances in which the way I was approached regarding a misunderstanding would be okay as a patron. The way I was spoken to, without a chance to discuss the issue respectfully, was just deplorable. I believe that as a business owner, issues of non-violence should ALWAYS be approached with a calm & clear demeanour before resorting to any other means of reaching a solution. I am extremely hurt by the interaction on a deeply personal level, & as a customer I am shocked that a business interaction was conducted in this manner. Compassion, empathy & clarity are virtues that should be used in such a sensitive situation. This is especially important when you are in charge of a business. Disrespect begets disrespect. It,s such a nice,,,basic,,retro feeling place,,,the rooms are fairly spacious,,,along with the bathrooms as well,,,large toilet,,shower,,and vanity basin unit. Excellent table and chairs,, and even a couch to sit down beside bed,,,,to watch tv,,,and tea and coffee making facilities and remote control tv and reverse cycle air conditioner!

You do hear some outside traffic noise as well from the rooms,,,but overall,,,the location is great in 15th Street,,,close to the Coles supermarket and the gateway bistro restaurant,,,and hungry jacks across the road.

Car parking within complex is great too.

Some rooms have a luxurious heated spa bath as well!

Breakfast is great,,,in the air conditioned breakfast room,,,a good range of breakfast cereals,,,,bread for toast with Vegemite,,jam,,etc. And tea and coffee and apple and orange juice too.

Definitely will come back to stay again,,,owners are lovely and great to...

At first we weren’t sure about this property but we received a warm welcome and parked the car. Parking is to the side of the building and easy to negotiate. The room was great. Much larger than expected with a desk, table and chairs, a sofa and comfortable bed. Plenty of room to move about and the bathroom was a reasonable size too. Amenities included a microwave, toaster and kettle which are always welcome when you have been traveling for a bit. There is a supermarket close by if you need supplies. On arrival we thought the area might be a little noisy with a main road out front but this was not the case. WiFi was good and the room itself, well cleaned.
