If I could give negative stars I would do it. We navigated to the place on our way to Byron Bay. We were travelling with a 5 month old baby and there was a heatwave (40 degrees). I go in to order food and obviously give my baby a bottle as well. After ordering and paying I ask for a toilet, the lady tells me that they don’t have one but I can go to the gas station near by. I run to the gas station and is greeted by a very polite man who tells me that he is so tired of that cafe sending people over and I should tell them to stop it, but he will obviously let me use the toilet as he understands the my situation. I return to the cafe, I ask politely the lady if it is okay that I do a new diaper for my baby in the corner on his own nappy-bag (there are only us in the cafe and the kitchen is now closed). She tells me no! So my baby is sitting in a wet diaper while we wait for our food, food arrives quickly (I’ll give them that). The food is the most plane and basic food I probably ever had (in Denmark there would not be people paying for it basically). We eat it quickly and are then off in the 40 degrees with a sad baby. I guess the lady has no kids and forget her humanity. Eat somewhere else people, let’s support the good...
Read moreStopped by for a quick coffee only to get yelled at by the blonde Karen on the register for 5min and told to wait out in the cold until the two coffees were ready. This alone wouldn't be the biggest issue but the overly loud and sarcastic tone really did a number on my sensitive ears. There was really no reason to yell directly into my face.
Also very disappointed in the lack of environmental awareness. We arrived with two re usable cups that had been filled and emptied from coffee only hours earlier but they were denied based on their lack of cleaness and dryness. Never had an issue with this at other coffee shops before. Despite all this, our two orders somehow required 6 different band new disposable cups.... for two coffees! After pouring our orders into our own ceramic mugs we were yelled at once again and told to throw the cups out ourselves in a bin outside, I can't imagine these are getting recycled.
At least the coffee tasted great, hats off to the overworked barrista who actually...

Today we were driving back to Sydney with our two young kids, it was 2pm and we were exhausted! At that time of day with two grumpy young kids, you roll the dice in entering a cafe, but we immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
We were greeted cheerfully and once we sat down were provided water and then were asked if the kids wanted Disney on the tv in the background. This distracted our toddler enough that we could read the menu!
There is a strong selection of meals and afternoon tea type options, including a LOT of gluten free choices which is awesome!
My husband went with eggs and hash browns, the kids got enormous muffins, and I enjoyed the GF banana bread.
The coffee was excellent, as was the food, but the service was above and beyond. Safe to say we will be back the next time we are in Morisset, and recommending this cafe to our...
