Pauly's Gourmet Kitchen — Restaurant in Morisset

My gosh where to start, i am new to the area my husband is not , he has told me about this place so I popped in after a massage and was greeted right away , i was advised there would be a wait (no biggie, good things take time) I loved I was advised right away of the wait , I ordered with a young lady at the counter who was polite and patient with showing me the sizes of the pizza , I told them I would go home and come back after the advised with time. I came back to collect my order and it was ready to the exact time advised, on my way out I was thanked by who I assume is the owner and the door opened for me by a young gentleman finishing his shift , definitely recommend. I eat a a lot of (probably too much) pizza, and Pauly's Pizza is one of the best in the business! Easily the best in the Lake Macquarie, Central Coast areas and beyond. Happy to customise toppings. The rest of their food on the menu for dine in meals is awesome too. But beyond the food what really makes Pauly's is the man himself. Always friendly and welcoming, working hands on up the front with his team. Always good for a yarn while waiting and the evidence of him being a local favourite is easy to see and hear as every moment the lights are on and he is at the front window the waves, hellos and tooting horns are numerous....

Great pizza - but this place is never open! Always trying to get a pizza after work at various times - 5pm/6pm/7:30pm all days of the week including weekends - there is always a reason why they are shut. Renovations, picnic days, just shut, don’t answer their phone, don’t put anything up. Just always turn up at the door to see a sign after driving into Morisset to get a pizza. Getting very fed up, shame the food is so good when you can actually get it. Makes it hard to boycott the bad business reputation.
