First off I'd like to say I rang the store and the staff advised me that they were one of the stores selected to trial deliveries via UBER. The order was ready inside 15 minutes as is my usual experience. This is not directed at the staff working this night.
Right, here I am at home with the kids being a lazy dad on a Friday night. Order confirmed at 6:10pm, and says ready in store before 6:30. At 7pm I call to find out what's going on as UBER still says 25 mins, which doesn't surprise me because the driver who has been allocated hasn't moved from the same side-street for 20 mins... the store advise they are trialling UBER, and it's out of their hands, this is bigger than them and have 5 drivers sitting on their hands doing sod all. He is clearly frustrated by the influx of complaints they are receiving.
Whoever made the call to try this collaboration with UBER, I can confirm for you that it WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL!!!
7:28pm, food ready for over an hour, order placed for 80 mins, it arrives. It's in a coles bag, cold and will be reimbursed let me assure you.
I get teething problems when trying new setups but this was rolled out way before it was ready, and if anyone responsible for the shit housery that I have experienced this evening would do me the courtesy of contacting me id be more than comfortable sharing further...
Read moreAppalling service... ordered online for pickup. Arrived on time and was served by a guy that could not find the order in the heating bay. I asked if it the order in the middle tray was mine - I was told that it must be still cooking even though it said on the screen my order was ready. Waited 10 minutes before another staff member picked up the same order in the middle bay which turned out to be mine. I made comment when paying that I had been waiting the whole time and that the guy was too lazy to check properly. The person serving could hardly raise a response. Staff is so poor at this Dominos - its run by incompetent people who have no skills to get a job anywhere else - Year 10 dropouts who cant handle basic responsibilities of customer service. The owner of this store should be ashamed of the appalling service people have to endure at his store. Not to mention the grubby state of the front customer area which never gets cleaned - too scared to touch anything. Wake up...
Read moreHad an extremely frustrating experience tonight. We ordered our dinner for delivery and as we watched the gps, we could see the driver go to the completely wrong street! And then we got the notification that it had been delivered. I called the store and put on hold for quite a while and then I had Jesiah pick up the phone. I will definitely say that Jesiah was very pleasant and understanding of our frustration. He organised for the pizzas to be remade and sent out and gave us a drink to make up for it. He was delightful. When the pizza was delivered by I believe his name was Jordan, We were told the previous driver had just left it at the door and not knocked obviously in the wrong street!! Absolutely useless.
Jesiah and Jordan are fantastic and we appreciate what they did to resolve this but we still ended up getting our dinner over am hour later than...
