Don't normally leave a reviews as I'm of the opinion of taking the good with the bad but with the price of living and in my opinion if you pay good money I now expect good service. So mothers day I orderd delivery as my wife loves Thai food was an $80 order website service stated it would take 60 mins to arrive , no problems as gives me time to shower and get my disabled son ready for bed. Food showed up in 20 mins mid shower( 1st issue ) I quickly run out to gate to receive as that's what I asked for when ordering as normally we are waiting and I can see the front gate from our living room.and saves the delivery driver walking up long driveway and stairs to our front door. So I meet driver at gate and he stated he'd been waiting for ages and was about to call. So I get inside to relise he forgot to give me the drink I ordered, so I call restaurant to hopefully get them to call him to come back ..... this did not happen and I was told all that they can offer is a refundfor the drink. I was not happy with this as now we don't have a drink to compliment our dinner. This was not good enough told owner on the phone as such and to my surprise his response was " as you can imagine its mother's day and we are really busy and you need to see it from our perspective " sorry what???. Absolutely gobsmacked, so jumped in the car to go to servo to get drink ... first servo shut early ...great... by the time I get back from second servo drinks in hand food is cold and wife is I tears .I know it seems trivial but when you spend good money on a special occasion and get let down by something as simple as a drink it might not seem like a big deal to the restaurant but it is to the consumer ....zero care was given and what I hoped for a nice romantic mother's day meal was ruined..... oh yeah to top it off we cook our own rice to save a few $ when we bought two mains and an entre' by the time I got back it was burnt also almost had an accident driving back from picking up the drink, talk about one small thing setting off a chain of events lol This was our go too for our takeaway night but they have now lost us as customers. We will now be using the other thai joint. SHAME. I told them that they could keep the money for the drink and not to refund as that's what's obviously the most important thing to them because it definitely is not customer service. This was not the first time we had been let down with things missing like adding extras and getting charged for them ie cashews and no cashews in the meal this happened twice previous. They seemed not to care about dine in customer's, take away was not much better 1 guy had waited over 2hrs, and its not like they were super busy, busy a bit yes, but not that busy they needed to have people waiting upto 2hrs, I personally seen 5 tables of people patiently wait to be served, only to walkout an hr later, a few of them laughed and tried to make light of the poor effort, 1 couple i noticed waiting for nearly an hr, they were there before me, I thought they had ordered n were waiting.. but No, when they finally got the menu, only to be told your meals would be an hr or more, they too got up and left, a table of 6 were waiting for atleast an hr, when they asked where the meals were and how much longer it would be, the nice waitress went and asked the owner, she returned only to be very apologetic and tell them thier orders had been lost.. so of course they got up and left... You guys need to learn bad reviews will cost you business, and more importantly learn to communicate with your customers, if you were up front and told dine in customer's they may have to wait for an your or more, then the wait is then thier choice and they wouldn'tbe upset.. We ordered the pad see ew with chicken and didnโt eat more than two mouth fulls as it was super sweet.
The chicken laska was so thick you could barely call it a soupโฆ..
We were asked by the staff member at the counter when we paid how our food was and we simply told him that the pad see ew was too sweet and the laksa was too thick, then the older lady told us that she would let the chef know.
We werenโt going to write a negative review as we understand that the restaurant was busy and these things do happen, however when we left the older lady from behind the counter which I'm assuming is the owner decided to go and tell two customers that were dining in that we had complained and pointed to us as we were getting in our car. They all continued to stare at us and shake their heads until we drove offโฆ.. extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.
Absolutely appalling behaviour from the staff member. And I am assuming I will receive a ๐ค response from the owner as all the other negative reviews...
