A solid 3 stars as will definitely be back, but not for the food... As a first time visitor I was directed to sign up to be a member. Everyone was friendly and at $3 it was going to pay for itself in the first outing. However, I felt the prices were extremely expensive if you didn't have membership. $4.50 for a lemonade before discount. As now a member, a few drink specials were available including a limited cocktail list for under $10, which is fine as not forgetting where we are (a Country Club, not a cocktail bar). The kids area was ok, could do with a few more activities for that wow factor and was impressed you can sit in the same gated area (please add a shelf near that gate so I can put that second drink down while opening!). Now the food, well, on the whole was very disappointing. The beef burger didn't have any taste, similar to cardboard (or what I assume cardboard tastes like) and made me think it had come directly out of the "cheapest mass burger option" on the suppliers list. The parma unfortunately came into that same category, straight from the freezer to the plate with no imagination, pride or consideration for a "killer parma" which to be fair should be a simple win to bring those customers back. Chips were greasy and lackluster and couldn't be more "standard" if they tried. However, the atmosphere was lively and upbeat, half decent beer selection, nice and reasonable modern decor and facilities were clean. A great spot to watch the kids play, watch sports on the big outdoor screen and plenty of room for catchup with people. I will be back and will update this review if another meal selection is better than the bland rubbish I tried. A bit of a shame on the food front as I wanted this to be good as I could see Breakers being a great place that I would encourage more friends to meet me at, but at this point it would be drinks only. Hope someone at Breakers reads this and ups the game! Thanks...

Read moreI don’t think I’ll ever come back here after my bad experience with one of the floor staff for bistro .. I asked for medium rare steak and received a steak I couldn’t even cut through it was that well done. I was still eating the rest of my food that was on the plate,I just didn’t want the steak so I took it up there by itself holding it, went to the counter and explained I had asked for a medium rare and had gotten a well don and if it was possible to get a new one. One of the bigger ladies with dark hair standing there was refusing to take it back if it wasn’t on the plate they gave me..i didn’t want to return the plate as I was still eating the sides..I eventually ended up having to place it on the counter in front of her and walk away… even though she was probably standing in front of plates for service she could have just given to me to put it on but her ego got in the way.. After all of that I received another steak that was medium well at best. I have included a photo for the cook to hopefully learn how to cook a steak, shouldn’t...
