Frankies Albury — Restaurant in New South Wales

Lovely atmosphere and food was awesome 👌 even though I almost walked out and didn't order. After a long horse ride my hubby n myself decided to try some of frankies food. As we where riding past. I've also been looking for someone to cater our Xmas lunch for my business. Frankies would of been top pick. BUT the service from who I can only presume was the chef? Or cook. Anyway I was looking over the menu and I like to read everything on the menu and take my time. We'll this chef wouldn't let me be he was pushing me to order, asking me what I was looking for to eat. Man idk? That's why I'm taking my time. He wasn't polite or easy going about it. Just rushed me. I must admit I was looking pretty shabby and dirty from our horse ride. So all I could think was, this chef guys trying to get me ordered and out of here. Cause man he was pushy. Coming in as someone with a mental disability and as a business owner, I wouldn't feel comfortable sending my staff there to order. if it's that chef guy serving, my staff with disabilities would be overwhelmed and not order and walk out. I'll try them again today for lunch. But if they push us to order and not take our time, then they'll lose our business. Otherwise the other staff and food was awesome 👌. But the chef hmmmm I havnt much to say of his bedside manner. My advice is stay in the kitchen and let the other staff...

Thought we would try the new burger shop, Frankie's, man were we disappointed! Though freshly made, the burgers were definitely underwhelmeding. I myself ordered the chicken burger with fresh slaw, pickles and a Tabasco and mayo sauce. Not only were there no pickles on my burger, there was the smallest amount of sauce I have ever seen. The slaw had sat for too long and had lost all of it's crunch. The chicken, man oh man the chicken, dry, over battered and over cooked, not to mention the odd flavour for something so flavourless. By far the worst burger I have ever had. Chips were a simple crinkle cut you can get from your local grocery store. I also ordered the apple pie with a side of cream. Though a simple side order I somehow managed to get sour cream on the side instead. The ONLY reason I'm giving them any stars at all is the fact that the apple pie itself was pretty good, though short lived after I dived it into the tub of sour cream. With my partner also getting a burger he described as "dry and plain" it most certainly wasn't worth the high prices. $46 for 2 burgers, chips and an apple pie. Definitely...

3 weeks ago ordered something on menu log, the full order never arrived as they never made the drink. We ended up having to drive half way across Albury to pick it up. (Not ideal when you’ve paid delivery) Today when attending we arrived, ordered 2 burgers and a coffee. The coffee was made about 5 minutes after placing the order, which was great. My partner and I sat and waiting whilst other people came in and ordered their food. We waited almost 35 minutes and people that had ordered after us they were getting larger orders and we still hadn’t gotten ours. My partner went up to ask if it was far away and they said they hadn’t put that order through or made it yet. We got a full refund after my partner asking as they didn’t even offer to make it.
