Lots on offer for families.
We started at the Noreuil Park Playground. This enclosed playground was beautiful with the enormous trees acting as shade cloths.
It's not as big as Oddies Playground which works in its favour as most families head to Oddies leaving Noreuil playground relatively empty.
It looks out onto the Murray River and the Noreuil Park Foreshore.
Just outside the playground there are BBQ facilities and seating. Otherwise there is a cafe right next door.
From there we headed along the foreshore walk which was beautiful. There were people having picnics whilst others kayaked down the river. Along the walk there were tables and directions to different walks.
As we walked there were heaps of birds to photograph, including the Red Rumours Parrot and the Eastern Spinebill (photos included).
They are currently upgrading the walk with a large section closed. You can get back on track by walking along the grass.

In normal circumstances Noreuil Park provides something for everyone. Needless to say the restaurant has an excellent deck nestled in the elbow...
