The Albury Botanical Gardens also cater to families and children. They have a dinosaur park hidden inside the gardens that are perfect for children, or many seats and open spaces for Uni students to spend the day studying. Toilets are ample near the entrance, and water fountains are everywhere. The best part is that the Gardens have events happening there nearly every week. Last week was the AURORA light show which was spectacular. We went last year and enjoyed it, but this year was way better in terms of organisation. Much more security, and clearly laid out paths on Flat surfaces for all ages. They also have many markets there to enjoy. Overall, the Gardens is a lovely spot to stop at and enjoy the views. Read moreI love the ever changing seasons in the gardens, its a mostly peaceful tranquil place to relax and enjoy.
That is until someone disregards the signs bringing dogs in or riding bikes and scooters.
Beware on the grass and paths.
The staff do a wonderful job maintaining it, lawns a beautifully kept as are the beds and trees.
The children's garden is a delight for kids and adults.
Sadly, the same can't be said for the ponds which are chocking with leaf litter, sometimes rubbish, dirty mud run off from the beds making them murky, cloudy and quiet unsafe and unhygienic.
More needs to be done to maintain them, as the fish are much loved by those that visit especially the children.
