This place is an absolute delight for the senses. Nestled in the heart of this charming city, the gardens proved to be a breathtaking oasis that offered a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Upon entering the gardens, I was immediately captivated by the vibrant colours. The garden is maintained flower beds, and lush greenery all contributed to an atmosphere of tranquility and serenity. As I strolled along the winding pathways, I was impressed by the diverse range of plant species on display. The gardens boast an extensive collection of native Australian flora, showcasing the rich biodiversity of the region. From towering eucalyptus trees to delicate wildflowers, every corner of the gardens offered a new discovery. The informative signage throughout the park provided interesting insights into the various plants, allowing visitors to deepen their botanical knowledge. For those seeking moments of relaxation, this Garden is your location! The Albury Botanical Gardens also cater to families and children. The dedicated Children's Garden offered interactive play areas, including a whimsical maze, making it an ideal spot for little ones to explore and learn about nature through play. The well-equipped picnic areas and barbecue facilities made it easy to enjoy a family outing in the picturesque surroundings. In addition to its natural beauty, the gardens are well-maintained and boast excellent amenities. Clean restroom facilities, well-placed benches for resting, and accessible pathways throughout the garden ensure a comfortable experience for visitors of all ages and abilities. A MUST visit when in Albury. Great picnic location too.

A beautiful place to relax in the heart kf Albury. They have a dinosaur park hidden inside the gardens that are perfect for children, or many seats and open spaces for Uni students to spend the day studying. Toilets are ample near the entrance, and water fountains are everywhere. The best part is that the Gardens have events happening there nearly every week. Last week was the AURORA light show which was spectacular. We went last year and enjoyed it, but this year was way better in terms of organisation. Much more security, and clearly laid out paths on Flat surfaces for all ages. They also have many markets there to enjoy. Overall, the Gardens is a lovely spot to stop at and enjoy the views. Just make sure to be respectful, and careful where you step, some plant species there are very vulnerable.

This place is absolutely stunning!! I visited in between a wedding and reception and I loved it! I’m not usually a big fan of botanical gardens, but this one was laid out beautifully, with unique and interactive sections, a kids play area, seats, plenty of parking and areas to sit. It’s designed so that while there are open grass areas there are trees in between so it feels private at the same time. Even the kids play area was interesting and had many different parts to it. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Albury!

These gardens are lovely on any day but today which I believe may become an annual event - Gardenesque was on. It was a whole lot of gardening and food stalls. Live music on two separate stages and entertainment for kids. $25 for a family entry to Gardenesque. Lots of good food stalls local and from out of town. Highly recommend attending the show. On an ordinary day the gardens are free to walk in and around. Beautiful spot for weddings or photo shoots. Wonderful selection of flowers and trees.

We are travelling through from Perth, Western Australia wanting to see the sights along the way. We Google places to see in Albury and was very disappointed to arrive here to see No dogs allowed! This destination was noted as the number one tourist attraction here in Albury by Google😕 Albury council can you reconsider this so maybe one day we can come back and visit here with our fluffy family member. Nice to see positive comments get feedback, but we get ignored.
