Green One Cafe — Restaurant in New South Wales

On Sunday my family and I did our normal walk to the beach for a play. On this walk we always stop by Cafe Aqua and grab a coffee and some food however lately we have felt very unwelcomed at Cafe Aqua. I have 2 young kids with a pram and my god was it as if we were breaking some criminal law by bringing our pram in out of the hot sun and wind to order our coffee and food We felt so unwelcomed by all the staff and other customers who sort of “huffed” to walk around us that we just ordered coffee and left. I said to my partner let’s walk to that new little coffee joint over the road and see what the food and price is like. Let me tell you, for anyone reading, the experience was a thousand times better. The bloke that served us, I believe his name was Will, was so polite and friendly. Ok food first! Excellent cooked by passionate chefs 5 stars. Service poor girl was taking orders and Trying to carry a full restaurant . Failure here is management! Tables not cleared complete shambles! Management should train waiting staff not to walk back to kitchen empty handed but clear tables. So service was a generous 3 because the poor girl was only doing what she could ! Ideally management get zero Atmosphere …… this is in general . Our food turned up after 40 minutes but was excellent the coffees never turned up at all. That was after 15 minutes eating ….. don’t care how busy it is train your baristas properly ! Finally if you are so busy that the entire operation is in mayhem , why would you have one person cutting watermelon one person cutting tomatoes one person doing cake display ? Can management answer this ? No probably not! Chairman have a board meeting...

I recently dined at your restaurant , and while the food was truly excellent, the overall experience was let down by the service. The dishes were well-prepared and bursting with flavor, clearly showcasing the talent and passion in the kitchen. However, the attitude of the staff really put a damper on what could have been an outstanding meal.

I understand that restaurants can be busy, but that doesn't give the staff the right to be dismissive or arrogant. Polite, attentive service is just as important as the food itself, and unfortunately, that was lacking here. Waiting for long periods without acknowledgment, coupled with a brusque demeanor when we were finally served, made the experience less enjoyable.

I hope management can address these service issues because with the quality of food on offer, this place has the potential to be a dining...
