So we went to Mingara tonight and it was very busy due to their badge draw We opted to go to The Roasted Berry at 7:00pm only to find that their kitchen shuts at 5:00pm. So no dinner there. As a result we went to Hadley’s restaurant, which was also very busy. We had no booking and waited to be attended to. The first lady said she would look fur a table for two and politely asked if outside would be fine, to which we agreed. Whilst looking we were asked by three other staff if we were ok or required assistance. One of those staff was delivering a meal and paused to ask if we were being assisted. The attention to assisting us was awesome, especially as they were super busy. Ryan was one of those who asked and he went and looked with the initial lady. A table was located outside the front of the restaurant’s entrance which was fine. We were both very impressed with the service which was polite, professional and genuine. Ryan even gave us a run down of the specials. Not long after I ordered our meals and they came in reasonable time, especially given how busy they were. The quality and size of the meald was excellent. The prices very reasonable. The service could not be any better. This restaurant gets it right. Treating customers with respect and great food at a great price. It’s easy to see the culture of the restaurant is with all the staff. We would fully recommend anyone to go to Hadley’s without hesitation. We would also like to compliment Ryan who ensured we were looked after professionally. We will definitely be dining there again.

I really wanted to enjoy this place because it would be great to have an easy local dinner spot, but the food was a letdown this time. The pizza was undercooked and the base was so soft and soggy that it tore apart when picking up a slice. The sauce tasted like canned spaghetti sauce with no real flavour. The pasta was also very plain and lacked seasoning. Overall the meals just didn’t have much care put into them and weren’t enjoyable to finish. I want to be clear – the staff were lovely and polite, so no issue there. Service was good. But the quality of the food has definitely dropped, even the cocktails at the bar don’t seem to be at the level they used to be. I’m not writing this to bag the place out, I genuinely hope they improve because it could be a great local go-to. But at the moment, the food needs some serious attention.

We celebrated our anniversary here and the dinner was absolutely fantastic! One member of staff, Abbi, was incredibly kind to us – I accidentally ordered the wrong dish, but she quickly sorted it for me. Thank you! I think we’ll be visiting Hadley’s more often in the future. The only bit of feedback I have is regarding my scotch steak. I ordered it medium rare, but sadly it was unevenly cooked, with most parts being rare, which I’m not particularly fond of. This took away one of the stars from the rating, for me... However, the meat was beautifully tender and the rub was delicious.

A rather disappointing mothers day lunch outing.

Remote ordering through the app was used.

When dishes came out we weren't provided cutlery and were informed that normally you're provided them when ordering at the counter. When the staff returned with the cutlery (no serviettes) they were passed in a handful to one of the members at the table to hand out.

Dishes ordered:

Bread with garlic butter and mozzarella. The dish came out cold and soft (no exterior crunch that you'd expect).

Smokey cheese kranksy sausages. These came out stone cold and had to be taken back. The waiter manager was very apologetic and the dish was swapped out for Salmon instead.

Salmon. The fish was average but they were happy it was cooked.

Lamb souvlaki. These dishes were tasty and well presented. The pita bread and tzatziki worked nicely with the lamb.

2/4 dishes were cold so a C for food.

Being mothers day the restaurant was quite packed with 12+ tables currently eating and drinking but as it was 2.30pm, when we tried to order a drink we were unable to since the bar was closed. Fair enough closing the kitchen but if your restaurant is still full with eating customers don't close out the ability to order drinks. We would have liked to have stayed and had a drink after our meal but instead just left unhappy.

Overall the experience left much to be desired. No cutlery and inexperienced junior staff, cold meals and unable to...

Lack of consistency and basic quality immediately comes to mind as I think about what to submit for this re review.

Recently we were given reason to head back to the Central Coast institution known as Indigo's. Whilst not my first choice for a meal, we went in with modest expectations. We lined up with all the other sheep and ordered away, thinking what we would end up receiving would actually somewhat resemble what we ordered. My chicken and mushroom risotto was placed down in front of me and I thought this is odd, I didn't order soup. The rice was cooked yet still starchy with an odd crunch. The flavour was present and reasonable, but when I compared the chicken to my partner's it was oddly identical. You might think this is great consistency, but the problem was that she had a salad. My son had a steak with vegetables and gravy. It just wasn't up to scratch. Presentation was poor and it was as though it was all just thrown on the plate. The desert was supposed to be a fruit trifle, yet no resemblance was found. Last time I checked a fruit trifle didn't have tiramisu flavours in it. That all being said, the staff are friendly and helpful. The kitchen really needs to...
