Nectar General Store | Cafe | Cabarita — Restaurant in New South Wales

Decided to check this cafe out because I was very thirsty and saw the positive reviews of the juices on google but in hindsight was unfortunately disappointed when I received the juice I had ordered (the pink floyd) because it was so much smaller than I expected. I enjoyed the gluten free/vegan chia bowl in a cup which was a great brekky option for me as i'm dairy free and have dietary requirements, and the pink floyd juice tasted great however charging $10 for such a tiny serving in a plastic cup (about 250-300ml max) including ice cubes which watered it down is a downright rip off. I showed the juice to my friend who is raw vegan and drinks fresh raw organic fruit juices every day and he agreed i deffinitely got ripped off. You can buy juices from Top Juice that are $8 that are a way larger size that taste just as great and aren't as watered down.

Next time I'll make sure not to forget to fill up my water bottle or will bring my own fresh juice instead.

All-over i'd rate my experience at 2.5 stars. I hope the owner of this Cafe takes into account this review and reconsiders the sizes of their juices/drinks, or at least changes their prices to reflect something...

I used to go there daily, but not anymore!

-Overpriced iced lattes $7 small (mostly ice) -Charge you to use your eftpos card surcharge on Sunday’s recently changed their points system (in their favour, wouldn’t honour points saved) alot of the young girls they hire aren’t friendly unless your one of their mates. now bribing people for good reviews - “you could win a prize if you give us good reviews” went there one morning, arrived at 6:15 as they open at 6am, shop was only just opening then I was told rudely to wait until they had fished opening up. a few times ordered toast- sorry no bread yet...

This place was good, but the unfriendly staff and overpriced below average service/surcharges...

The BEST toasty I’ve had in my life!!! I’m not even exaggerating. The Nicks Cheese Toasty was so insanely good that my husband and I were telling strangers on the street that they should get it. It The flavour was perfectly balanced with cheese, jalapeños, mayo, hot sauce, sun dried tomato, rocket and amazing bread. We also enjoyed their smoothies and coffee! I was also pleased with the size and that it $18 rather than $20 like most meals in this town. There are other cheese toasties that are less expensive but this one… wow.
