Umina Charcoal Chicken — Restaurant in New South Wales

Absolutely crap communication between the staff as to what comes on a burger when i asked for a chicken schnitty burger and what comes on it one minute it doesn't come with cheese so I ask for cheese and bacon to be added and then next thing they're saying cheese does come on it then I get home with a burger with no cheese and a schnitzel that's overcooked and dry as and can't even put cheese on my burger and melt it cause then I'm overcooking everything else more than it already is and a waste of fuel to drive back just for some cheese, I tried to ring and yet no answer doesn't surprise me and this is coming from a chef so in my eyes poor place and its only been getting worse as the years go on definitely never going back and if I do you won't have a happy customer and someone who may come back there and show you how to cook and...

Food is great but seriously the staff have the personality of a brick wall. They close at 8pm on a Saturday and i walked in at 7:50pm and the two guys were cleaning up. I stood at the counter for a few minutes, with them looking at me a few times and doing nothing. I had to ask to order. All i wanted was some chips. All that was said to me was cash or card, no smile, engagement nothing. He tolde the price then my daughter came over with a drink so i said add that thanks. All i got was an eye roll. Seriously sort your staff out. Im a local and other people i know have the same perception. Either sort your staff out or employ people that actually want to work. Have been to this shop on some occasions it’s not great food but not horrible either, literally just your standard grubby chicken shop no offence to the owner but that what you have nothing to be proud of… but unfortunately today was a different situation for me I’ve got a medical exemption for not wearing a face mask but this shop does not care about that. Got refused service for not wearing a face mask , apparently this shop believes they are above the law of discrimination. I will attempt to go back there and give them a second chance but if they refuse me service again they will wish they didn’t.
