Umina Skate Park — Attraction in Umina Beach

Fantastic Park with all the upgraded facilities like the new climbing walls, basketball courts, BMX Track and skate parks for different ages. Would be even better if kids under 5 years old and bike riders were kept off the larger skate bowl and stayed on the tracks that have been purpose built for them. They take over, don't look where they're going and don't care, leave their bikes or scooters just lying on ramps for skaters to try and avoid. And the parents get upset if you politely ask them or thier kids to please be mindful of older skaters so they don't knock them off and get injured by thier kids hitting them. They behave entitled and rude. If thier kids get injuried I will guarantee they'll kick up a stink. In saying that there are some cool and competent young skaters who's parents have taught them the etiquette of sharing space. It's awesome.

Council needs to enforce some rules or put up signs. My son has a fractured wrist, damaged kneecaps and abrasion burns from a young child knocking into him and it was impossible for my son to avoid him. After an afternoon in emergency, in a great deal of pain, he's now bandaged up in splints. Parents of young kids please at least supervise your kids properly or even better use the track that was built for them instead of endangering others. Someone is going to be critically hurt, and it just might be a young kid and the park shut down because of thier ...

This is the best skate park in NSW. All local councils should take a page out of what happened at this park. The facilities are amazing, loads of space, loads of picnic tables, something for all ages, including teenagers. Great to see families of skateboards and Dad's teaching their kids how to skate.

Topping this off, it's right next to the beach and a local cafe. It's the best day out and it most likely will only cost you an ice-cream.

This park is incredible, after one visit my boys talk non stop about when we’re going there next, it has so many facilities for all ages. I give this park an easy 4.9. I think to make it perfect with a 5 star it just needs a water park\water play area as it’s super hot in the sun when the kids are riding. that would really top it off but is still the best area...
