Went to the counter to order, was told it was table service. Waited at a table for 10 minutes. Had to flag down two waitresses before one finally came over. Both looked visibly annoyed that I was flagging them down. Someone finally comes and asks me what I wanted to order, I said I was never given a menu. She goes and gives me a menu but doesnt even ask if I'd like to order a coffee while I decide on food. I wait another 10 minutes for someone to come back. Never got served.
Instead, I went over to Jimmy G's Riverside cafe, less than 50 meter walk. Was allowed to order at the counter, food and coffee came in less time than it took me to get a waitress' attention at Zanziba. Order the Corn Fritters at Jimmy G's, they're totally delicious!

Read moreFood came out before drinks, one drink came out several minutes later however unfortunately one did not make it until we had almost finished meals, this was acknowledged by the waitress and appreciated. When approaching the counter we were left waiting unacknowledged by two staff members for about 3 minutes, when one approached the register we were not greeted with anything other than being asked which table we were at. Little changes in the service we received could have changed this to a 5 star review. The coffee was great, we will return, and hopefully next time...
