Exciting that you guys roast your own beans & serve single O as I was visiting the area. So I was a little disappointed with my long black- no crema and it lacked the tasting notes it should have had. My grandparents enjoyed their cappuccinos. Pastries were fresh and delicious. In response: Crema gives a smooth, creamy mouthfeel and it can also add a small amount of flavor and aroma to a shot of espresso. While crema does not guarantee a shot will be good, it is usually a good indicator and is what I am used to and enjoy. The *80 degrees hot water is interesting. I like my coffee to be at the 93-94* mark, and 90*- 95* is usually the optimal brewing time which explains why it was not hot when I drank it. When coffee is cooler, you can get more tasting notes, that’s why many cold brews are much easier to taste the finer details. However, I found the coffee to be quite flat, it didn’t have any oomph and was a bit watery. Perhaps it was the beans, that temp, the skill of the barista on that particular day; or all of the above- it just wasn’t my ā€œcup of teaā€. Wishing you all the best

Walking into the store I was greeted with the delicious aroma of freshly backed pastries. My eyes were immediately drawn to their cruffins, croissants and danishes. All forbidden fruit for me at the moment as I’m off carbs and sugar at the moment. Alas… however the atmosphere, the vibe, that was enough to pick me up again and give me hope for a great coffee. And that’s what I got, delivered hot and relatively fast a delicious small latte. I dropped that one back and ordered a second. Just as good as the first. Great spot to get some work done with some low volume background music and some non obtrusive ambient cafe noise. Staff were friendly and welcome, warm and happy. If I lived local, I’m confident this would be my go-to. Lastly price $5 for a small latte, fantastic value in my opinion. Especially considering the quality.

Had an earlier than normal start to the day and needed a pick me up - STAT! Saw this discreet little cafe with a roaster in the window and thought it was worth a crack. Was it what! I grabbed a cappuccino and a Portuguese tart. My better half got a cap and a croissant. Not crazy expensive for what it was, right on the money. A nice simple interior, nothing ostentatious. The owner/roaster was happy to chat - then BAM! The poor fella was hit with 17 customers all within 10 minutes. He managed the lot with a smile. Yup, I like this place and this fella. You should give it a try too!

Dear Legend Coffee and Culture,

I thoroughly enjoy the Gossy blend, it is flavoursome and works well at home in our coffee machine.

My only concern is for the Culture aspect of your business. When ordering a coffee at the shop, I like to order Almond milk due to lactose and gluten free and currently enjoy the taste this brings too.

However, your oat option for alternate milk is pouring down this potential 5 star review.

Originally I was going with a 3 star review. But, I have been made to dive into the Culture of coffee, and enjoy some lovely single Origin blends espresso style due to not trying out the oat milk.

Perhaps in time, your Culture will win me over to a 5 star rating. As I think you do have the gluten free oat milk. Time will tell.

Thanks for reading.

P.s, do you call it a G.OAT coffee if people order gossy blend with...
