Have been shopping here for quite some time now and am always happy with the great range of products, fresh organic produce and friendly, helpful staff. Great not just for groceries, but for environmentally conscious cleaning products, natural skincare products that actually do good for my sensitive skin as well as general household items. Always amazed by the range of products in a relatively smaller store. Staff are always making sure I’m helped with whatever I’m looking for and keeping me updated as soon as something I’m after is in stock. The only thing I could say that isn’t in positivity and praise is that I can’t help but notice the mark up on prices can seem a bit steep, especially when comparing some of the same/similar products prices at other local independent owned stores. I am typically happy to pay good money for good products so it’s not a huge deterrent for me but I do find the price stacks up fast. Read moreThis store is more than just an organic food store. Not only does it have an incredible range of organic fresh and packaged produce, the staff are full of knowledge to help you find exactly what you need. This is the only place in Newcastle that I’ve been able to find nitrate free ham and bacon - and the difference in taste and quality is off the charts! When I went in to this store the first time I was newly gluten free and the staff couldn’t have made it easier for me. They helped me navigate everything with such kindness and incredible knowledge. When you buy from Goodness Me Organics you know you’re getting high quality delicious food. I could not love this place more! My fave purchases are the Noni’s gluten free brown seed loaf, the nitrate free bacon and ham and the incredibly fresh and delicious organic apples! And the corn chips cooked it avocado oil will blow your mind!! Do yourself a favour and visit Goodness Me Organics! Your body will...
Read moreStopped in for a coffee and something to eat, but choose takeaway after seeing the prices. The coffee was nice and the chocolate and coconut cookie was good, definitely overpriced. I was a little confused when I wanted to add a "Daily Bar" snack to my order, standing with the coins in my hand and told I couldn't pay at the counter where I was purchasing my coffee and cookie, I needed to go to the front counter for that item, with the explanation of "it will be cheaper"? So I make my way to the front counter (approximately 5 metres away) where there was no one attending the counter. I was left there to look at the attendents half drunk coffee class sitting on the bench for sometime before someone served me. The dirty coffee glass was pushed to the side and I was then served. Not a good look leaving your coffee on the front counter while customers are left to stand...
