Always feel safe and respected when ordering here with food allergies. It is my go to place at Greenhills, so I have eaten here regularly for a number of years due to ongoing positive experiences.
I truly appreciate their willingness to always answer questions (and check for accuracy), change their gloves on request and take care to minimise risk of cross contamination as much as humanly possible. Eating out with allergies is always a risk, but I find they truly do take reasonable care. It is as safe as you can get for a non dedicated allergy free kitchen, which also means their food hygiene standards and awareness must be very good.
Also as a person with disability I am treated with absolute dignity and respect. It is all the subtle things that make my experience here shine. Simply telling me my order number because I can’t read the receipt, making sure they wait a few seconds so I can be handed my order rather than have to search the counter.
So five stars is conservative for a business that is maintaining good practice standards for dietary and disability inclusion, in a world that hasn’t quite caught up to their excellent version of normal practice. Thank you! Plus food...
Read moreExtremely slow and poor service. Dorve half an hour to have my Barra Bowl with extra Barra (weborder 977) along with my friend (weborder 1008). I'd placed my order at 12:05 with the pickup time of 12:10. On arrival, the server first said "We don't have any Barra at all" which was a straight lie..on explaining her that I'm pescaterian she spoke with one of her colleagues and came back saying it will be 10-15mins as they need to defrost Barra.. 35 mins later I get my Barra Bowl and find that there's just half a piece of extra Barra (2.5 finger wide pcs), that too completely scrambled.. I went to talk with the server and she started arguing saying that she had give 4 piece and would listen.. I even told her that I'm a regular customer to GYG and I know about the portion size.. but no one cared and didn't take any measures of customer satisfaction and continued with their work ignoring me. Overall I feel really disappointed with GYG green...
Read moreI hate to put up a bad review for a place where I absolutely love the food but the staff can really ruin a good experience. I find the staff not all but certain members are horrible at their job I was attacked by 3 team members today because they don’t like me , they laughed in my face and told me there boss told them they had the right to do so. One of the guys with the long hair who likes to wear his hate backwards said to me oh she knows we’re not a fan of her two the other two girls with the coloured hair cuts. And they all proceeded to laugh about it. Shocked is an understatement…. Will be getting in contact with head office Such a shame
If you read through the other reviews you can see this is an ongoing problem and the staff need to be trained and things need to be put in order for the staff to serve the customers properly. All they need to do is be polite and efficient they are the ones being...
