Hunter Gourmet Pizza Greenhills — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

Tried here for the first time on a Saturday night and was overall quite pleased. I ordered through the app which was a fairly easy standard process. The wait time for pickup was 20mins and was on time. Staff were friendly and well presented. Parking is easily accessible but not quite out front instead behind the building or on the street if you can find one nearby. The food was hot and fresh and quite tasty. The quality was what you would expect from a gourmet pizza place so the price matched with it and wasn't an issue. I thought the garlic bread was fairly basic, nothing too amazing about it. We got two pizzas, the Siam satay chicken and the Nick's special. Both were good but the Nick's special was a stand-out as the Siam one was a bit dry and we ended up adding some sauce to it which made it great though. Overall I would definitely recommend trying out this gourmet pizza place, it is better than your average pizza and we will be back to try...

The Pizzas are never good, sometimes fair but usually disappointing. The $15 pizza verses the $5 pizza for a similar amount of topping is quite pathetic. I think the inexperienced staff have had no formal training or guidance from management. The last/final one was a $17 meatlovers with only one type of meat and an over amount of BBQ sauce. I am never going back, there is never a senior adult in attendance to supervise what's going on. I am now a 100% Domino's pizza customer, delicious pizzas. ONE STAR FOR GIVING THEM A JOB -- BUT DO THE RIGHT THING BY THEM...

Used to be great pizzas, now they're ordinary, had a couple that were so bad we explored a couple of other shops. The pizzas have gotten smaller too, like an old large is the family size now. Never get any customer loyalty discounts or bargains. The deals are different if you order online versus if you call them up. Unfortunately most of the time still the best pizza around here. They really dropped the ball once they were established.
