Friday 19th of July at 8.30pm, I visited and they had shut their drive through off for some reason so I went in and ordered a large chips they weren't cooked through and hard in the middle, ordered a small potato and gravy and received a large (which is great for me because it was delicious and hot, but not good news for the owner), and 10 spicy wings which were surprisingly hot and crunchy and a pleasure to eat with soggy cold chips...
To the owner... You need to hire a slightly older team and who actually don't goof off behind the chicken cooker, I find it quite no surprise that the drive through was closed because the wait from the same tom foolery with the team their goes on and error levels go way waaaay up.
My review is for the past several times I've been then not only this last recent Friday, but many times during the day and evening and the same ridiculous behaviour seems to be going on and the chips always not cooked through (I know this isn't because you're worried about using too much energy, but rather a young team who either panics to get things out to a busy customer cue and is cutting corners or otherwise just don't seem to care because their too young and it's not their business).
If your fine losing profits and customers hand over fist, why not just invest your money directly into something else and just spend it, it's not worth your time annoying customers and having so many 1, 2 and 3 star reviews.
The staff took a while to get the customers order before us also and their was only 3 if us in the store, so it wasn't badly busy... Don't you think this is something you should address???
At least have one senior on with the juniors, to try and organise the team and if the senior manager isn't cutting it replace them, this is straight out "hurting" your business... I won't be back because it's happened several times and I wasn't going to say anything or complain but try a good amount of times to see if it improved... The courier arrived at the restaurant within 10mins, after 40 mins we phoned the store direct and was told by the manager that a crazy customer had gone into the kitchen touching the food which then had to be thrown out which was the reason for the delay. First lie, He said it would be leaving the store in 2 mins 2nd lie ! We phoned again 20 mins later because we noticed the delivery time kept going up in mins only to be told by the same manager that the driver had left the store 3rd lie. The managers at Kotara need some serious training, theyāre incompetent & just not management quality. The poor driver waited for over an hour & told us he also asked serval times if the order was ready, he never left the store, No one went into the kitchen touching food. Order was delivered at 7:15pm. Every time we order delivery at Kotara we wait for over an hr, one time it was a 2hr wait. Shockingly Abysmal KFC Kotara, worst store in Australia ! Facts !!!    Read moreArrived at 5.15pm in drivethrough, the place was dull and the service was laughable. They said they didn't have any chicken available and it was going to be a 15min wait. That's fine, we were ordering a large quantity for a family gathering so we were happy to wait. 15mins went by, and then 25mins went by, still nothing! By this time cars were going through and people getting their orders, we were unsettled by now. My partner goes in to check the order and is told they had to accomadate the other customers first as they had smaller orders. (We only had the giant feast nothing to extravagant) After all the back and forth we were handed our order exactly 30mins from when we ordered and paid. Get to our gathering to find no chips or second potato n gravy. 𫤠To far and to late to go back we had to let it go. Fast food should never take that long! Management were contacted but unfortunately they didn't want to take...
