KFC Rutherford — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

Ordered 2 aoli popcorn chicken shaker salads with a large extra salt chips. Received 2 honey mustard popcorn chicken shaker salads which had all of 5 pieces of chicken each and a large overcooked chips with no salt at all. I ate the salads because i was starving, already home, and you had a drive through line half way down the street, but it was not enjoyable. This is the 2nd time ive had exactly this happen to me, even though my order was processed correctly.

The chicken my mates got on the same order was as it should be, but their chips were just as bad as mine.

The young worker on the counter was friendly and well presented, but struggled for a bit to find the salads. Fair enough I'm the one in a million weirdo that orders a salad from KFC but still, it looked like nobody was around to even ask for help.

Will i come back? Probably.. But only because my hotel restaurant is shut weekends and youre...

Not a place I'd want to eat in again at night as this place brings out the worst of Customers in the Rutherford area and there's no Security here either when I ate in. During the day when I've ate in here it's fine with no weird customers what so ever. I did see the Staff replace someones order (at no cost?) when the guy dropped out as he was going out the door, Staff should've offered him a bag unless the guy said no to it and I missed it (in that case it's on him )

Bathroom taps seem to work on pressure plates which I have yet to see at any other Modern KFC's really. As soon as you step on a certain plate in the bathroom the tap in front of you comes on.

Out of hand-wash soap that's on the wall just before you enter the bathroom corridor and has been for the last couple of times I've been here.

Otherwise okay place and the food I had was fine...

It is KFC, so you know what you are getting when you order - deep fried, salty, fatty food that is good while you are eating it but leaves you feeling bloated & full of regret afterwards.

The food from this location is always hot & fresh though, & the staff are competent & cheerful. Even on the rare occasion that a mistake is made, they are always happy to fix it up without any fuss. Never an issue to make changes to a menu item (who TF puts corn chips on a burger?)

This would have to be the worst location for actual location though. The driveway also seems to be the drive-through which doesn't leave space for a car to enter the carpark & another to leave at the same time. If a car is parked in the space closest to the entry/exit point it makes for a very interesting bottleneck. The person who designed this chaos needs to give themselves a...
