Beef Salad: A Little Slice of Thailand, with a Side of Confusion
I recently ordered the beef salad from ToronThai for takeout, and let's just say, it was an experience! Upon opening the container, I was greeted with what could only be described as a salad of epic proportions—if epic proportions were slightly underwhelming.
The beef seemed to be on a quest for flavor, but alas, it must have missed its flight. It was tender enough, but it tasted like it had been marinating in the shallow end of the seasoning pool. The veggies, on the other hand, were bright and fresh—boldly trying to carry the entire dish on their colorful backs. I applaud their effort!
Now, the dressing was a mystery. Was it a zesty Thai vinaigrette or something that fell off a truck labeled "mild confusion"? Either way, it was the kind of sauce that makes you ponder life choices. A little more zing would have turned my culinary voyage into a flavorful odyssey!
In summary, the beef salad from ToronThai didn’t quite hit the high notes I was hoping for, but it was still a decent way to get my greens in. If you’re looking for food that sparks joy and excitement, this might not be your best bet. But if you enjoy a little mystery with your meals, go ahead and give it a whirl! Just be prepared to embrace the salad’s journey of “meh.”

We spent $96 tonight and regret it. A waste of our hard earned dollars.Pad Thai pictured and Dey...

No calamari, mussels, or scollops. Very disappointing. Go to Erwain Thai at the Northumberland Hotel Lambton and you’ll see a decent mixed seafood dish. This place was expensive and extremely disappointing, plus delivery fees on top. Won’t be purchasing from this joint...
