Millers Pie & Sandwich Bar – Warners Bay — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

Today we bought 3 pies that were salmon mornay, curry chicken and beef mince.

Utterly disappointed. Won’t be going back there for pies! Definitely NOT.

Salmon mornay had an abundance of seafood extenders which seemed thickened with corn flour! Curry chicken pie had a slight pale yellow and again thockend with cornflour with only a slight hint of chilly to give it that”curry” taste! Mince pie, I could eat the dull coloured mince which didn’t have and taste whatsoever! I had to add salt to give it some semblance of a mince pie. Again it was thickened with cornflour that it looked like cat food. I ended up squeezing out all the gluggy looking mince and just eating the pastry.

Morale of the story: won’t be going back there!

Lift your game guys and don’t rip punters off because word of mouth is your best advertiser, in this case, your worst!

Be fared dinkum about your pies or change your supplier because quite frankly your pies...

Watched the older lady barge past her co workers to go to the prep section to make 2 snitzels rolls with no gloves on and literally picked up the snitzels in her grubby hands, I was scared she was going to grab the cheese with no gloves too So disgusting. Get some good hygiene and I'll be back cause my snitty that she made (with 1 glove this time) was nice I even seen her pick up a vanilla slice with no tongs or gloves for another...

Pretty ordinary pies, I don't rate them. Had the sweet chilli chicken, where is the chicken? Only found a couple of bits in the whole pie. Had a cheese and bacon again where is the bacon and cheese? Pretty bland with no cheese and bacon for the price they are charging. No wonder they give them away on KO FM every Friday. You...
