The worst food experience ive had hands down. Guzman fits the macros so we go when we’re in a pinch and I genuinely don’t remember a time when the order was right.
Here’s a list of the last few months amazing service at gyg Warner’s bay Wrong meat in burrito No extra meat in burrito bowl Paid for a coffee then told coffee machine is off, given attitude (and later figured out not enough $) when asking for a refund instead of their offer of “a different drink” Consistently warm soft drinks No nachos in burrito bowl Asked dude to put the chips in the bag (how am I gonna carry them loose in the car wat) so he poured them into the bag Forgot the sauce for the churros, told me they were closed when I went back to get it in the drive thru, then didn’t listen to my response so had to basically sit there til they realised I wasn’t making an order, attitude served with the sauce I paid for Manager telling me they were closing early due to “some statewide issue” at 945 but really they just wanted to close up early as it’s about a 50/50 chance that they have bothered to stay open for the advertised times Same 👨🏻🦰 manager just being a generally unpleasant person
The coffee one actually happened twice, both times refunded the wrong amount. It’s not hard to tell your teammates the coffee machines off.
At this point sometimes it’s fun to go just to see how bad they are. Really wish there was another drive thru macro friendly option in newy as I’d drive the extra 10-15 just to avoid these guys.
Fact that it keeps happening shows that the management are incompetent, and the...
Read moreWe went through the drive-thru on Friday night, and the service was absolutely terrible. We ordered two burritos for ourselves and two soft serves for the kids. When we arrived at the window to collect our food, the staff seemed more interested in joking around with each other than providing any actual service.
We could see that the soft serve machine had run out, so we waited while they refilled it. However, at no point did anyone acknowledge us or explain the delay. Instead, we sat there listening to the staff laughing and mucking around. Once the machine was working again, one of the employees made the ice creams and then started joking with her coworkers about how bad they looked. She even called another staff member over, saying, “Come look at this weird ice cream I just made—it’s hilarious.”
The entire time, my family and I were waiting at the window, watching everything unfold. As we drove off with our “weird ice creams,” my 8- and 6-year-old asked if they were okay to eat since the employee herself had called them strange. It was an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience.
To top it off, the store was visibly dirty from the drive through window, with food scraps all over the floor. For the record, the burritos actually tasted fine, but the overall experience means we won’t...
Read moreI don’t like negatively reviewing . I have only ever written 2 . I visited on the 19th of December after ordering via the app at the end of a very long work day . It was really busy there . I waited an extra ten minutes . The kitchen looked chaotic and the front counter staff frazzled . Also this Mexican take out had run out of rice and was offering lettuce instead . I declined and was treated rather rudely for doing so . I waited another 10 minutes and had still not received my order so asked for a refund . App orders cannot be refunded in store . I have raised the issues via the app twice with two ticket numbers and no refund has been forthcoming. My family used to love this place to the point we have GYG socks and my kid loves it even more . However it has become very hit and miss . Sometimes great sometimes terrible with incorrect orders or poorly prepared food. Once we went back three times to get our order correct after we had been reassured it had been fixed . We received no apology or compensation just a surly refund . Has there been a change in management or staff or is this place just a victim of its own popularity. I don’t know . I do know it’s a real shame and I still don’t...
