What happened to the old staff. They would get to know their customers habe a chat while you were getting your food and really looked after you. Went in today and asked for our usual bacon, schnitzel and coleslaw roll. Been buying these for 3 years. Then told for a year they turn the grill off at 1 so i cant get bacon. Well that's a surprise because we don't get lunch until around 130. If that's the way things are we will drive over to longworth takeaway and buy them there. Super frustrating seriously how hard would it be to shut it off at 3 and get things packed up ready to go home. Had been dying for a proper meat pie since returning from the UK and decided to stop in to what used to be a good Darby's Pies, where you could get some pretty average $1 pies back a few years ago. A bit of a disappointment to find that the pies at Millers are only slightly better, but now cost around $7. We were the only ones in the store and it took about 15 mins for my partner to get our order, which included a sandwich being toasted I believe. Apart from this the only seating available were a couple of milk crates out the front. I had been driving all day and I drop the truck back off at the truck rental next door I called in and I got a seafood Mornay pie . Wow what a terrific pie . I did not think that they could make a seafood pie that nice I was so surprised I would recommend anybody going past the stop in and get a seafood pie please try and leave me one for the next time I’m from Anna Bay and I reckon it would be worth the drive down to Glendale just to get a pie from them thank you Millers...
