Sushi Hub Kotara — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

Wow we rediscovered this hidden gem offering the best Japanese sushi choices only recently because the other sushi places within Kotara had run out of my son's favourite mini tuna hosomaki sushi. While my fussy 4 year old enjoyed the mini tuna I enjoyed trying there seared salmon nigari, scallop nigari and prawn nigari. With these choices I could tell the skill and freshness of the product and we were so pleased we proceeded to buy more to take home to all the family. Excellent salmon rolls in Newie! Came up all the way from Sydney and the salmon meat was really huge in comparison to the tiny content of salmon meat in the city. The rice was perfectly cooked and soft. And the seaweed was easy to chew and is crunchy (unlike the Woolworths, their seaweed was very tough to eat). Overall, I would recommend and give this a 5/5 review....
