So disappointing! We drove all the way from GOSFORD to come here! 2.5hr drive all up! I've never seen a restaurant stuff up so many times! We placed our order and asked that our sides come out first. The kids meals came out with the sides, my son was quite upset that he ordered a cheesy pizza but got a cheeseburger, he doesn't like tomato sauce and it had tomato sauce. My daughter had ordered the kids pizza and after looking at it, I told him the burger looked alot better as the pizza was only 4 very thin slices with some chips. I told him to put some bbq sauce on it and eat it. He asked at the counter for some bbq sauce and it took half hour for them to bring it to him that his meal was going cold and he had to eat it without the bbq sauce. Adults still waiting for their meal half hour later, I checked the time and realised it had been 50 minutes and was just about to get up and ask about our meals when it came out. I asked for bbq sauce on my chicken burger and I had some tangy sauce I did not like. But given the time I was in no position to whinge for it to be re-made as close time was at 9pm and my burger didn't come out until 8:50 so I put bbq sauce on it however the other sauce still overpowered it. My 1yr old son had Mac and cheese, after a few spoonfuls he was making hocking sounds and refused to eat more, I then shared it with my other two children, my 9yr old said "mum, I'm never eating here again". I asked why? And he pulled a bit of foil out and I said "what's that"? He said "it was in my Mac and cheese" and that he had ate some. At that point I took it up with staff and said it was very disappointing. A lady (Emma) apologized and said they had been busy however it was no excuse. Upon paying she offered 10% discount which members get anyway and she removed the Mac and cheese, I told her I was not going to be paying for the kids burger, my son did not enjoy and didn't even order it. She was a bit reluctant to remove it. We won't be attending here again. We waited 50 minutes for our meals Kids meals don't come out together, sides didn't comes out first, sauce didn't come out for half hour. Got the wrong meal and got foil in the food of our 1yr old. They care more about money then their customers. I'm surprised my hubby handed over and paid. If it were coming out of my pocket, they would not have got anything! I visited this establishment as a special birthday treat for myself and family, unfortunately it didn't hit the mark. I ordered the Smoked Boss Hig Plate, and the wife the Texas Taster Platter. Whilst the meals were presented nicely, it was actually very disappointing. The pulled pork on my plate was watery, I could actually press the pile, and watch the water expelling to the side of the platter, additionally it had no seasoning or actual flavour. The sauce was the sole point of reference for anything close to a taste. I actually think, considering the amount of water coming out of the meat, that it was actually reheated from frozen, or out of a hot water bath reheating a bagged portion. The brisket on either platter was equally the same, whilst not watery, had no flavour or seasoning other than the bbq side sauce. The sausage and chicken wings were the winners on the evening, the only things to stand up on their own. To be honest, for the price we paid ($40 each), very disappointing. Service was great, friendly and prompt. Neither waitress or counter staff however asked how our meals were - perhaps it's common enough they already knew?

Only other gripe - if your selling a $7 spider/float soft drink, send the can over to the table as well so you can top it back up.

Nice ambient and spacious. Lots of free parking. Food came reasonably quick only 30 mins considering we ordered quite a lot. Nice presentation - that’s for sure.

The Food: Spring rolls, potatoes, French fries, onion rings, beef ribs and sausages were nice. Fried chicken breast and other meat was dry. Barramundi was a bit undercooked and very salty skin, jalapeno nice hot and tangy but salty. Sauce for garlic prawns tasted like packaged sauce. Food were not warm enough except for Spring Rolls.

The Service: Only 1 Senior Lady waitress was smiling. The two young female waitresses (one with glasses, one no glasses) were not smiling at all. Especially the one without glasses and wearing lots of earrings, from the moment we stand at the counter (she came late - few people already seated before us so we were not the first to arrive), look like she doesn’t want to be there at all. She took our orders without smiling too - not friendly at all. Made us feel like we eat for free.
