The menu is simple but expected for a restaurant serving a small community predominantly non Chinese. Portions are generous and average. We had the meat with veg combo where beef was tender and crunchy veggies. The fried rice was not of uncle Roger’s standard but ok. Soup was too salty for me and least value for the price. I think 50% of business are take aways. Another table had sizzling Mongolian beef which looked authentic and smelled good. First night on holiday in Normie. Freezing cold and raining so opted for take away. Easy online ordering. Food and service outstanding. They rang to advise the order would be 10 minutes late. So impressed! Never experienced that before! We ordered Satay Beef & Chicken Skewers, Beef & Black Bean, Pork in Plum Sauce & a large Jasmine rice. All were delicious and generous serves as we have leftovers for another meal. Beef Satay & Pork in Plum Sauce have been my favourites for 40 years but it is hard to find good ones so I don’t have Chinese that often anymore. These rate with the best I have had! I recently visited this Chinese restaurant and had a wonderful experience! The Special Fried Rice was delicious—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. But the real star was the Honey Chicken—it was absolutely fantastic! Crispy, sweet, and so tasty.

The service was also excellent—friendly and attentive staff who made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend this place for great food and a great dining experience!
