This cafe is an absolute gem! The food was exceptional, and it came out quickly. I had the veggie burger with hot chippies, and the burger was to die for! Such delicious flavours and beautifully presented. We also got a croissant and some homemade treats from the front counter which were amazing and fresh and unique! We had hot delicious coffees and extra yummy smoothies. The service was top-notch, and the staff so friendly and up for a chat which was lovely and inviting! The cafe is laid back, and even if you're not on holiday, you feel like you are. It's a beautiful relaxed area close to the beach which is such a beautiful short drive from Adelaide, so it's a great day trip to get away from the city. Disappointed with this new business venture, walking in is a big let down. I read previous reviews and yes, the food looks good, we went in for coffee only. Small counter and unlit display fridge, with scribbled names of items. Display of cakes - boring. Needs some wow factor, bottom shelf full of cold drinks, what a waste of space . Menu- this is a book of already ruffed pages, at least 8pages, it’s an essay. $30 for a full breakfast, no coffee included. A3 doubled sided, menu’s that can be wiped - suggestion. BACK IN NORMANVILLE August 2024

Well a year has gone by, and now we're back. Couldn't wait to get to Southbound Cafe ☕️☕️ for brunch. Such a full plate of beautiful food..Never been so full, and 2 coffees each later.. still the best in town. YOU JUST GOTTA GO AND CHECK OUT LOUISA AND HER TEAM!! LOVE JULIE.....
