Massively overrated. Coffee was OK, but not enough to redeem the food to get an extra star. The bacon and egg sandwich was bland and dry, no sign of the apparent chutney. The ‘caramelised onion tart’ honestly tasted like scrambled egg in crust - again no flavour or seasoning. Last up, the pancakes and milkshake. Two raised flour pancakes with a light rim of maple syrup and half a teaspoon of cream. Salted caramel milkshake was just salted milk. Extremely disappointing and perplexing. Two stars for location, misters, friendly staff and good music.

Loveeeee this place. It helps that it's right around the corner from Leighton beach, but their coffee and service is amazing. I love the huge effort they go to to make their business eco friendly. Loving the little touches like the blankets and dog bowls. Only downside is that they have huge crowds and waiting times can sometimes be long but that only shows how amazing this place is in my opinion. Great for kids and dog lovers too as they have a huge park and space to run around. Also serves the best hot chocolate I've ever had in my life.

Good cafe right on the beach. Tasty food, pretty decent prices too. Fair bit of seating and a large grassed area out from it. Ordered from the table using the app and did and drink was ready very quickly. Smoothie was really good, coffee was good, and the pumpkin salad was tasty though bread was like one big crouton, dry. The BLT was decent, bub, ice berg lettuce, and couple slices tomato. Good location and the prices are good too. Definitely a worthy place to stop.

Location is lovely, nice vibe. Live music was a great addition as well.

However, writing this from the perspective of being coeliac, I have to give the lowest rating possible and I really hope that the company can take this feedback and make some improvements. They didn't take my dietary needs seriously. Staff weren't educated about cross contamination. Using same tongs to pick up gluten and gluten free cakes in counter for example. When I asked multiple times about how they were preparing it, I kept getting smart answers like 'if it says coeliac on the docket obviously it's safe for you'.

It was my fault for choosing to eat there even though I was 80% sure I would get sick from it (which I did) based on how they were dealing with the situation and treating me. But as other coeliacs would know- sometimes when you haven't eaten all day, you already spent an hour just trying to find a place with gluten free options and you have other people with you who don't want to venture to 10 different places just to be able to eat a safe meal- you have to take chances.

My biggest recommendation for the owners- stop allowing coeliacs to order there without a serious warning unless you are actually going to take measures to make the food safe for coeliacs and not just gluten free. There is a massive difference. Educate yourself. You are damaging people's health when you refuse to take this seriously and we are sick to death of it !!! I won't be going back and will be spreading the word to coeliacs to not go...

1 year ago i was released from a mental health hospital prematurely and i tried to take my life in the ocean. the medication gave n outerbody suicidal experience i would never forget. ironically i suppressed most of the memories which is why i waited a year for this review.

i was saved by a rip after bringing weights to drown myself at what will always will be my final resting place even if i die of natural causes. after failing to die i needed a way to get to someone who could help me at the time. no wallet no phone n drenched in soaking clothes i entered the establishment expecting to be turned down for the 100th time well probably not that many but i know i was rejected in the double digits just for phone call. faith in humanity is restored they call a taxi for me get me a coffee without even know that i had just tried to kill myself and i go on on my merry way.

1 year later i revisit the establishment acting like ive just had a rough night order whatever the barista recommends and when it arrives i casually thanks you guys are lifesavers. i tell him a part of the story and nobody reads reviews any more but i thought id leave it here for them n carry on a tradition every year ordering wteva the barista recommends.

PS i have blood pressure and i dont drink coffee but it was never about the food or drink it was the bout the service and basic human decency to help another person...

I went for lunch and ordered vegan tacos with jackfruit and other ingredients from the menu, along with a juice. They didn't inform me when my order was ready. When I started eating, I realized they gave me a cauliflower taco instead. Not only did they serve me something I didn't order, but when I asked about it, they treated me poorly, saying 'that's what we have, the menu changed.' If the menu changed, you can't just give customers whatever you want; you need to update the menu. A blonde girl I spoke to rudely told me to order something else or get a refund. I chose the refund, but they didn't want to refund the entire amount. I didn't even drink the juice, and I wouldn't have ordered it if I wasn't going to eat. They refused to refund both the juice and the tax they charged through the app. They not only didn't apologize but also left me standing there, ignored, both the girl and another guy, who I don't know if he was the manager. As a customer and a person, we should be treated with respect. The mistake was entirely theirs for advertising a menu they couldn't deliver.Very unprofessional, I will never go back. People, be cautious because they serve you whatever they want. I could have been allergic, and they didn't care. Very disappointing experience, and I urge others to be careful when...
