I go to the club on Wednesdays for the trivia night which is a lot of fun. Friday nights for the members draw, raffles and spin & win fun. It is a typical workers type club with membership being a very modest charge. A pokies area and 2 pool tables as well as multiple TV screens for sporting events, together with a TAB and Keno provide lots to do. Bands and music on the weekend. I always feel safe and comfortable here which says a lot as a senior female. Members can use the free shuttle bus for pick up from and to home. Beverage prices are very good. There is an on-site bistro open for lunch and dinner. Quality of meals is great and are a generous serve and good value for money. Members get a discount on food and beverage. Staff are generally very good and friendly. There are two outdoor beer garden areas. Two off-street parking areas and adjacent street parking. Wheelchair accessible...
Read moreMy family and I visited Darwin recently from Adelaide and Kununurra. We decided to go to the Buff club to watch the football and have a few drinks we were made to feel so welcome by all of the friendly staff and in particular Kat. She was so helpful and endeared us so much we decided to come back a couple more times during our stay for dinner, the meals were delicious and so affordable. My sister and I played their musical bingo which was so much fun, we even won a couple of vouchers to spend there. My brother in law even became a member. We also took advantage of their free courtesy bus to and from our accomodation which meant none of us had to drive or pay to get home which was terrific. What a fantastic place and a lovely group of people who clearly love working there. When we visit again we will definitely pay them another visit and hopefully...
Read moreAppauling I was meet at the door by an older female who berrated me in front of other customers re entry procedures. This was my first and last visit to the Buff Club. The Bipolor nature of the indivual became more evident as I was usher to the front and demands not asked but demanded to produce ID. I was then treated with verbal pleasantries re local weather. I was so taken aback by this representive of the club I prefer not to talk with her. This individual continued her harrassment by pointing out every part of the club. The club will confirmi stood in the middle of the club for a minute or two flabbergasted before leaving without spending anything at the club. I would suggest that others vote with your feet & funds and forget this toxic environment. Never in Australia have I felt belittled and all for taking time to read the entry instructions of...
